This be easily be abused though, I doubt they could give it to everyone. :frown:
Reminds me of a picture I edited a year ago, how fitting :v:
That's like a computer game.
"oh no I'm hit!"
*pulls out syringe*
*rams into leg*
*restart next day*
Are we talking FarCry 2 here?
Universal Soldier anyone?
It's not for hospitals. The point of this is to make them survive longer outside a hospital, so they don't die before they arrive there.
Oh yeah, silly me
still could be included in medical kits that you can buy at pharmacies and the like.
Sounds like human hibernation's coming a bit closer...
Oh for crying out loud, for those who didn't read the op or the other three posts explaining this i'll say it ones more. This means that when soldier is wounded and loosing blood fast, he takes a syringe full of sedative substance that disables most of his fleshy functions so he kinda fells into coma. After this the poor man is shipped to hospital for the needed medical help. Then he's stabbed again and he recovers. Basicaly you could throw him into a freezer instead. ( it's more dangerous ofcourse )
I swear I saw a documentary on this a couple days ago, it was pretty interesting stuff, it had something to do with making people cold.
I think.
Cryogenic sleep?
“Darpa wants this to happen yesterday, because it was needed yesterday,” Dr. Miller told Danger Room.
If they want something to happen yesterday, why aren't they working on a time machine instead?
Well, I guess now is a good time to buy a shotgun.
I've always wanted a zombie apocalypse, wonder what the outcome will be.
Are we talking FarCry 2 here?
I think that he means L4D2. Oh, i'm not sure.

Probably you will die.
If they want something to happen yesterday, why aren't they working on a time machine instead?
Why would they work on something that has been done already? Oh shit i revealed a govermental secret!
I just realized, couldn't this also aid advances in long-term space travel?
The first steps towards viable cryostasis!
I sure hope animal rights activists don't bust in and release the infected pigs and cause 28 Days Later to become a reality.
And on the seventh day, god created the AR-15.

And then He rested from all the work which He had done. Amen.
Fuck, I'm an Atheist, but saying that felt satisfying. Thank the powers that be for the Second Amendment.
FUCKING GOD YES! THE Z-APOCALYPSE!
It's gonna be tight, ya'll

And America's extremely low gun crime ra- oh :(
cool, now people almost have multiple lives, without the respawn zone. Now if only each soldier had an eye piece that showed how many times they could come back to life. (preferably represented by little men or hearts)
Seriously though this is a great medical feat, that is if nothing goes wrong (like brain damage/heart damage/permanent hybernation/coma etc...)
If all goes well, bring back my cousin too :frown:
Putting zombie in the title was a really bad idea, now it's just a bunch of people not reading the thread and talking about how they're going to go buy a shotgun and how awesome the zombie apocalypse will be.
Probably you will die.
What, from his inability to read stuff?
I can just imagine it.
"dude don't go through the door there's zombies lol" written on the wall
and he goes through
I sure hope animal rights activists don't bust in and release the infected pigs and cause 28 Days Later to become a reality.
How am i the only person who wants this to happen?

That's why it could take so long and so much money. But it's the right idea - the kind of thing the Taliban can't buy on the black market.
:ohdear: I'm scared

You did to this thread what the American Military does to pigs.
except it still does. these wars are pointless
I find the number of disagrees on that post alarming.
This is one breakthrough in a big pool of financial quagmires.
Now we have a reason for troops to care less about their safety and run at enemy tanks.
It's like Final Stand minus the 4 deaths and time limit
