God created HIV so man would discover it cures cancer but also discover a cure for HIV around the same time, that way we can genetically modify HIV as a cancer fighting virus.

Yeah, it's depressing that so many people have died from cancer but I'm glad that if we cure cancer, noone else will have to go through the pain of losing a loved one to cancer
