I used to be a shift manager at a Pizza Hut and I can confirm that they drill it into you with handbooks, and bi-annual online training that you are to comply with everything and hide. They state to never engage the robber, so very likely the employee will be fired. I would hope not personally though, as he did a brave thing there. Pizza Hut is weird with their rules/company laws, and can randomly be extremely strict, or slap on the wrist weak.
Well wasn't there a guy who thought some those ads about "the noid" were about him and went to a pizza hut and killed a bunch of people? I can kinda understand how a bunch of suits would put policies down after something like that, even if they're awful
I guess he really wanted pizza?
If I went into a thread about DUI in Australia, would I be justified in making a shitpost "Hur Durr I'm an Aussie, G'day Cunts. I love me some Fosters, toss another shrimp on the barbie! hur dur"? It's relevant to the discussion since it talks about the issues of alcoholism in Australia, so clearly its a fitting post right?
I probably should have fixed my quotes better. The part under the edit line I was talking about the actual dude in the OP story, my bad.

Apologies for the necro, but there's a video out there of an interview with the robbers mother that will make your blood scream. [edit] Sorry, was on mobile, here's the article http://wncn.com/2016/11/03/parents-of-pizza-hut-robbery-suspect-question-why-employee-fatally-shot-their-son-in-the-head/
“Why in the hell did this guy have a gun?” questioned Hairston about the employee who shot her son.
The mom might as well be saying what the hell is wrong with this country, my son can't even rob someone without getting shot!
That is what she's saying. Oppression breeds recession.

The sad fact is most people haven't been confronted here with a gun. Most normal people should never have a gun drawn on them. Howerver, this world isn't normal. If a criminal commuted one crime what is to stop them from another. People who commit crimes don't think reasonably. Blunt force trama is deadly as most other things; no one wants anyone to get hurt. He went back into the house and shot first idoit was asking for it. PEOPLE DO NOT GO INTO A HOUSE ROBBING IT THINKING LOGICALLY.

This one is the one about the pizza Hut employee.
As someone who has lurked on here for a couple of years, I've registered just to let you know that even with a post count of "67,764", you are an absolutely awful poster and you was an awful mod too by the way. It actually surprises me that with a post count that high that none of your posts have ever been even remotely memorable or interesting. Onto the actual article itself, the employee should have kept his job and been given a bonus for defending the restaurant. Kudos to him.
look at how much vitriol you get when you say killing people is real messed up (i dare you to find a single bad ban by me. prove how bad i am!!) and yeah. the dude should get a bonus for killing someone ??? [editline]7th November 2016[/editline]
If a criminal commuted one crime what is to stop them from another.
the police? the people you call after he robs you so you can give them his description and other information that will likely lead to his arrest and your business' money back (especially if he doesn't 'think reasonably' like you say). america isn't some wild west with martial law you let yourself get robbed, even if the robber for some bizarre reason has more malicious intent, because in all liklihood he doesn't and taking out a gun puts yourself and others at a higher risk, call the police, and let them do their job. stores have cctv, he will probably get caught and nobody has to get put in unnecessary further danger, or get killed!

All of it means the same, losing it is just as important as another. You stating "it's a pizza hut employee" is insulting to human life. How could you even type that?
