guilty until proven innocent.
I'm tired of the argument that not all cops are bad. All cops are bad, whether they know it or not. All cops work for a completely corrupt entity. No respek.
there is no such thing as a good cop
there is no such thing as a good cop
this whole thread is becoming a joke.
Even police officers making completely legal and proper arrests aren't doing jack for this country.
what, how does that even make sense
Do you go on social media and flip them off?

i thought you were permad, yawmwen

This might sound rude.
But you sound exactly like a stereotypical pothead in a movie.
Like Seth Rogen.
I'm not saying this makes your comments entirely invalid, but none of you are posting from the United States.
I have never been pulled over in a traffic stop, arrested, or anything else that usually makes people hate cops, but I have had my fair share of unpleasant and unwarranted experiences with them in this country.
You must understand that not living where the problem is likely distances you guy from it and makes you more likely to believe the dumb "pothead who hates cops" media stereotype.

I don't care about any of that, how can you say a cop doing his job isn't doing his job
It doesn't make sense

you clearly dont get it
all cops are bad, wake up sheeple
He uses caps.
Yawmwen didn't use them because society uses them.
I'm not joking.
You can't be serious.
He's joking, right?

Try re-reading the post as that isn't what the post says.

Lol there's no point in arguing with kids on Facepunch.
If you disagree with the government you're automatically a stereotypical conspiracy nutjob and everything that you say is invalid.
Mount a proper argument instead of typical mocking equivalent to ad hominem.

I'm trying to find the post because I swear he said something to that effect.

But there are some genuinely good cops, like this one

I wasn't arguing, I'm just outright mocking people who hate and mock cops regardless of wether the cop is good or bad.

Nobody's calling you that, the things you say are just dumb and don't really make sense at all, it just seems hate-posting
I love how vague the video is. I don't remember the exact words and I'm not rewatching but basically the entire reason for the raid was that they were suspected of selling drugs out of the house and that the husband "owned weapons".
So basically they probably sold some pot to a friend and got rekt by the police state

We need far less cops, the amount of times people who aren't harming anyone are caught and arrested for breaking stupid laws with mandatory minimum sentences far outweighs actual justice being served in this country. Gotta keep that prison population up though.
After getting your place raided by the cops you realize how trigger happy they are, they wont hesitate to shoot you if you're holding something remotely looking like a gun.
Absolutely. I have no respect for police officers.
As humans, yes, I do respect them. Most of them are unaware that they're a part of a terrible maniacal organization. However, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for the occupation or uniform.
Ey up, Yawmwen's possessed Perfumly.
Ey up, Yawmwen's possessed Perfumly.
Hang on, we have to verify that via Ouija board, it might just be another yawmwen-alike instead of being the original one.
FLASHBANG THROUGH THE CRIB

Without addressing the argument of whether or not the police force is an entirely corrupt institution, thus rendering "good" cops, something that can't exist.
Cops do kinda suck, guys
tbh there's very little that police in America can do that fp won't go all apologist for so i can see why you would go completely the other way
Without addressing the argument of whether or not the police force is an entirely corrupt institution, thus rendering "good" cops, something that can't exist.
"Just because there's widespread corruption in the police I refuse to believe that there might be good cops doing their jobs right."
get over yourself, I can confirm that in my country, for instance, there are good cops who put duty above all else, despite widespread corruption in our police force.

The officers in the OP had a warrant and everything. It was a legal arrest, but something went wrong and a baby was hurt. For, most likely, a weed sale. Is the country better off for this legal arrest?
Is the country ever better off for a pothead being put in jail? It's legal most of the time.

ive lived in the us (only for a year but still) and honestly, the police isnt as half as bad as it is here, and yet people are 10 times more afraid of them for some reason

Ok thank you I am sure your post and police are culturally relevant to the United States police force.
Ok thank you I am sure your post and police are culturally relevant to the United States police force.
You never specified anything to do specifically with your country, I thought I might just add my two cents. My bad. [/sarcasm]
It's funny that you guys are all attacking the arguments that Perfumly's making as cheap and dull, by cherry-picking the points that he's making and twisting his words around and being sarcastic. As a whole, the police force in the US is horrid and brutal, and while there are good individuals (as people) they're still working for a corrupt system. Think more broadly about what he's saying.
Or don't, and keep being super nitpicky and sarcastic, I know what I say doesn't really carry a whole lot of weight. Just saying I get what he's saying.
I'm trying to find the post because I swear he said something to that effect.
I thought it was because he was against capitalism in all forms.
Ok thank you I am sure your post and police are culturally relevant to the United States police force.
So far it looks like his posts are a lot more relevant than yours. He may not be in the same country this happened in, but unlike you he's at least in the same reality.

tbh i don't think the system is necessarily the problem as it is a willingness to put up with the potentially lethal mistakes and abuses cops can commit, combined with a generally apologist attitude towards lethally incompetent and/or downright malignant officers and policies

HEY, GRADY COUNTY SWAT TEAM. If you're so broken up about this, quit your fucking job because it will happen again and again until we take a stand against the drug war.

Do you honestly think that's an option for them?
