we been through this in another thread, your min wage is more than double than the US's.
Wonder how soon for a Dolphin U. Wii U uses Wii's CPU but quad core instead.
Fuck you I pay $100 for games.
Your minimum wage is higher than the united staaates. That's why they cost moooore.
I don't really hate Mario games or anything, but New Super Mario Bros. Wii U is definitely not worth $60.
$60 for a game is a bit ridiculous, imo. I know they gotta make their money and profit, but still.
You know nothing about ridiculous game prices until you pay $110 for a new release in Australia.

You guys get paid more as repeatedly stated.
$15.96 per hour for minimum wage.

Your wages are higher, stop complaining.

Seriously.
7 dollars an hour for 60 bucks is 8.5 hours. 16 bucks for 110 is 6.8 hours. If anything you guys have it better.
So quit bitching for fucks sake.

Hasn't been too bad recently, I've seen some new releases going for $75, depends where you buy your games.
ZombiU Is also a good choice if you want Retro survival horror thrown into a FPS that acts like dark souls.
I am looking at the gamespot review. They are giving it a bad score because its a survival game and not an action game.
Games I want for the Wii U:
- Pikmin 3
- Super Smash Bros
- Nintendo Land
- Skyward Sword
- Scribblenauts Unlimited
I heard Zombii U was shit. Watching gameplay videos, it looks terribly tedious.

Super Nintendo Games were pricy
70-90 bucks for Chrono Trigger?
Damn ;_;
This reminded me that SNES games were indeed pricy as shit.
I did some converting and back then new games here were priced around 90€ which is around 115 dollars. Holy shit.
I have to pay 89.99 francs here for a new release and it still costs 60francs for a used copy of a new release in swiss :/
I'll hold out on WiiU until a Metroid game comes out.
For Australians:
Get American friend to buy games for cheaper, use your high minimum wage to pay them, profit?

I'd agree with this, but it'd need the addendum that it has to retcon Other M to the stone age.
Ditto Starfox and Command. That game was an utter mess.
I'd only consider a WiiU if pikmin 3 doesn't also come out for original Wii.
Even then I'm more likely to simply rent the console to play it.

at least chrono trigger is a damn good game
When you think about the work that goes into most games (I said most, so fuck off if you're gonna bring up COD or something), $60 can be a fair price
It's not so hard to understand why prices are like this. During the SNES days, prices were very high because of the cost of cartridges. However, once you got to PS1, costs went down a lot because discs are very cheap compared to cartridges. That is one reason why PS1 sold better than the N64 because games were much more expensive on the N64, as it used cartridges. Prices started gradually going up again because of inflation and here we are now at 60 USD.

Region Locking.
Makes it even worse when we get the really good games 3-6 months late.
