This sucks. The guy looked really friendly too.
What the hell? Why was he shot? Was it just straight up murder for no reason? God damn that sucks.
I fucking knew this would happen. No moslem should go to the USA
2.75 million. That's how many Muslims are currently living in the United States, and not being murdered.
I fucking knew this would happen. No moslem should go to the USA
Well jeez you might want to warn all the muslims here since they're all in mortal danger! /s
Middle Easterners are fucking boss.
thanks
i'm biased to outright call this a lie we can be bad sure, but i don't think you can chuck the WHOLE europe as anti immigration as long as they come to actually work(and not just sit on their ass collecting money from the government), most (if not all) will welcome immigrants
It's Vice, it might be complete bullshit. In one of their videos about Germany, they used the term "right wing politics" and "Nazi" interchangably. I've grown up in Germany and lived there most my life, and honestly I can see why people are frustrated with certain miniorities, looking through an objective lense. Koln, to be precise. The city is, or at least in my day was multicultural as fuck, and it was really lovely, for the most part.
Yea man I feel yah. I also refuse to visit mainland Asia because I don't want to be raped to death by Mongol raiders. [editline]9th March 2015[/editline] Seriously fucking racist. Europeans are probably the most xenophobic bunch of people on planet earth.
Europeans from the country of Europe all of 'em the same, one homogeneous mass that's not to say that I'm refuting your point, Europe is hardly the magical land devoid of racism and xenophobia people like to think it is, but your way of thinking is incredibly American to say the least
It gets even more sad
Oh my god how fucking ironic is that? If they stayed in Iraq maybe he'd still be alive!
You rate dumb this guy, but you know that this shit happens in US more than anywhere.
lmao are you fuckin serious dude do you know anything about any other countries at all? you live in estonia, literally just outside the epicenter of the world's most unprovoked killings
You rate dumb this guy, but you know that this shit happens in US more than anywhere.
I'd love to see some statistics showing this.
It's a shame that things like this happens. Senseless violence is utterly disheartening and absolutely appalling. Why do this to your fellow man? What makes it so hard to accept that everyone has an individual perspective and world views? We're all told as children that we're unique and our own 'individual' person. That can grow into narcissism and psychopathy. Whether this were a hate motivated crime or just some imbecile dicking around with a handgun, I hope law enforcement do their due diligence to bring that suspect to justice alive. He deserves to face a jury of peers whom will condemn him to a confined life in a cold lonely facility. Knowing that the day he leaves that prison will be either through a coroner's bodybag or on a hospital gurney. If the violent life in prison doesn't get him age certainly will. [editline]10th March 2015[/editline]
Holy shit. I didn't think my post would create such a shitstorm. I didn't mean US is a shitty country or anything (I am really sorry if i offended american users), it is just there are lots of videos on the Internet showing people getting shot in US by cops or by other people and I am afraid of getting shot. This is why I wouldn't visit US, Mexico, Brazil, Iraq or any warzone places like Crimea or Eastern Ukraine.
It's really not all that bad. The news has to cover something, right? Considering the size of our nation and the undeniable cultural and racial diversity we're considerably stable. Even in regards to the "Islamophobia" that apparently exists. People of middle eastern descent just happen to be this generations "butt" of society. Roll back to the 1940's when our government was holding people of Japanese descent in locked camps away from the rest of society. Then it was the Russians, and Southeast Asians; all in no particular order. Considering previous atrocities I would say the homefront is handling themselves well. Most Americans with that mindset are more or less bigoted than violent or radical. I'd rather people be tucked away believing in stereotypes or other matters of political correctness, rather than having violent confrontations.
To be fair if we shouldn't care about ratings then why do we have ratings.
So we don't have a bunch of posts just saying "lol" or "I agree"

If you go to the US you might not wanna visit Detroit, if you go to Mexico stay on the coast, etc. I think more people are afraid of visiting Mexico than a lot of places though, and I understand why. I think people have the misconception that the cartels are everywhere
Thats not how the court system will rule it, it will probably be second degree. Security footage shows that the man was firing his gun 'randomly'. As I said earlier, its probably some gangsters doing some 'initiation' shit. This has happened in my town once. A 16 year old wanted to be in a gang, and to join, he had to kill someone. So he went up to some random lady downtown with a baby in a stroller and shot her right in the head and attempted to shoot the toddler.
it's incredibly premature to assume anything about the assailant(s).
This is why I don't visit US.
I don't get why this comment is rated dumb, get over yourselves. US is a very dangerous country. My uncle who lived in Texas (currently not there, prolly returning soon), was held at gunpoint by some gangsters, had his shit stolen. My sister who lives in US also says it's dangerous as hell. RIP Ahmad.
lotta my x lives in the us here i live in the us and haven't been held at gunpoint or threatened with death at all almost everyone ive ever known hasn't been held at gunpoint or has been threatened with death
Just because it didn't happen to YOU it doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all. Are you being serious?

Like you could apply that statement to any country anywhere, and argue that that Cucumber should just fucking stay home. One murder is headline news for months here.

Just because it happens to your uncle doesn't mean it happens to everyone in the country. What you said is all just regular stuff that happens everywhere.
Just for reference, Estonia has a higher murder rate per capita than the United States, at 4.7 for the US vs 5 for Estonia according to Wikipedia stats. Also, each state is drastically different, some states have incredibly low rates like 1.0, and 1.1 per 100k in states like Vermont and New Hampshire. Areas like D.C. have something on the order of 21.8 which is horrifying.
Holy crap is Washington D.C. some kind of war-zone? (Political battlefields such as congress and the senate not included)
