Yeah, except that wouldn't work. Company trip!

Yeah except these areas in Fallout hardly look like in real life. You could just as well recreate these environments with some reference photos + google maps.

And besides, their primary demographic isn't going to want to play something set in Scandinavia or even the UK. The former has language barriers and the culture is generally more obscure to global audiences and the latter just isn't very exciting at all.
Europe just doesn't fit Fallout to be honest.
FALLOUT 4
i swear to GOD bethesda if this is some gay fucking skyrim shit i will come down there and put you nerds in your place
Creation Engine isn't a huge improvement over Gamebryo
If the improvements they did to Gamebryo between TESIV and FO3 are anything to go by it could be quite interesting.
Be realistic, please. Fallout 3 was a dissapointment. The idea behind Fallout was to explore the ethics of a post-nuclear world, not to make a better plasma gun.
They lost their primary demographic after FO3. Time to get a new demographic. A good game is a good game, no matter where it's set.
Its Horse Armor for Skyrim

Brilliant. You really represent the lowest common denominator admirably.
EDIT:
Fallout 3 had a total of 15 voice actors, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is broken, the writing is horrid, they turned the Brotherhood into some sort of sympathetic Robin Hood bullshit organization, V.A.T.S. is nothing like targeted shots and makes the game hilariously easy, your weapon skills make guns more powerful, all automobiles are packed with high explosives, uranium explodes when shot, super mutants, Enclave and the Brotherhood are all rehashed in a plot that reads like The Idiot's Guide to Fallout, Bethesda has zero understanding of dark humor, or any humor for that matter. And I'm not even going to touch on the engine faults.
DEAR GOD PLEASE BE FALLOUT 4

Be realistic, please. The overwhelming majority of players loved fallout 3. The idea behind Fallout was to make a game set in a post-nuclear world that people might find fun, immersive and challenging. Not an expedition to advance the frontier of our understanding of philosophy and meta-ethics.

Did you even play Fallout 2
It wasn't exactly a serious game
And Fallout 1 and 2 had way more bugs than Fallout 3.
It was a fun game, noone ever said it was deep. Go back to NMA.

That's funny, because what I said was a direct quote from Tim Cain, one of the original creators of Fallout.
And I want you to understand that nearly half of America has an IQ of sub-100. The majority of all media consumers love shit like Michael Bay movies and Twilight aswell.
My biggest problem with FO3 is it completely overshadowed New Vegas which is better in every way imaginable.

Skyrim could have a really big paragraph as to why it was shit as well you know, and both could have a really big paragraph as to why they're good
Cry about it people liked F3 boohoo. Also, you can make the game easily harder by changing the difficulty + not using vats
Did you even play Fallout 2

What the fuck kind of a psuedo argument is that? I never called Fallout 2 a serious game, in fact I indirectly laud Fallout 2 for it's sense of humor (and it still manages to be more serious in just about every aspect of the game vis a vis FO3).
You'll notice how I didn't touch on the engine faults, because that's not my real gripe with FO3. My real gripe is that it's writing and design is off the wall terrible.

"The people" are known for their shitty taste and intellectual anemia. Harder difficulties basically raise the hitpoints of your enemies and lower yours, it doesn't address the fundamental issues.

F1 had kinda shitty combat and writing as well you know. plus, F3 and F1 have entirely different game play styles.
yeah it was the original and had a lot of great ideas but it's "oh lol you have to go get a water chip"
Yeah, except that wouldn't work. Except that's not the case at all.
The entire premise behind the series is centered around the post-apocalyptic world in the 22nd and 23rd centuries following a devastating nuclear holocaust that's completely destroyed civilization around the globe.
It's entirely fictional.
Hence, you have lots of freedom with what you can do in regards to characters, locations, the story, etc. and very, very few constraints. And Fallout's many developers over the years have greatly utilized that freedom to their advantage. Sure, you'll find a few real-world things in the games, but not many.
I mean what was realistic about Fallout 3? The Capitol Building was in, so was the Washington Monument and the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. There was also the DC Metro (fancifully overhauled, however) and the Dupont Fountain. Oh- and I can't forget having to break into the ruins of the National Archives to steal the Declaration of Independence, Magna Carta, and Bill of Rights from a robotic Button Gwinnett running around in a lootable powdered wig (that was a good day; that wig gave me +10 speech).
The United States has been done to death, and Europe's a totally viable option. It's only a question of how much effort they'd be willing to put into such an idea.
And I want you to understand that nearly half of America has an IQ of sub-100. The majority of all media consumers love shit like Michael Bay movies and Twilight aswell.
those sold more in europe.
Fallout: Boston. If I recall, Fallout's lore hinted at a mysterious group called "The Institute" based out of MIT.

lol, Splendor calls other people intellectually anemic.

Fallout was the prototype, when they started developing Fallout 2 they didn't have to focus on engine development hence why the writing is razor fucking sharp. And I don't think you'll find a soul alive that would compare the dialogue and characters of Fallout 3 favorably to the characters and dialogue of Fallout 1. Who can forget Harold?
Fallout 4 or Skyrim content plz
Seems hell of an effort for a DLC if it is Skyrim.
Don't forget that the term "DLC" replaced "Expansion Pack", and if you remember back in the day Expansion Packs were sometimes HUGE deals.

Fallout 3 was the reboots prototype then, by your logic, and it was good in the same way Fallout 1 was, it was new and different. And New Vegas was like Fallout 2, the vastly better game that still had its roots in the previous. Let's just hope that Fallout 4 isn't the reboot's version of Tactics.

Do you know what the average IQ in the United States is? You're putting words in my mouth by claiming that I said I'm the smartest man alive, far from it, but I do recognize that very large portions of our respective societies are not that intelligent or as appreciative of excellent writing and design as they should be.

I would agree with you if they hadn't built Fallout 3 on the base of Oblivion. And New Vegas had more roots in Fallout 1/2, it was the true sequel if you will.

IQ doesn't mean shit if you're seriously using that as an argument then BOY are you dumb and desperate

100, and cognitive ability doesn't mean shit when it comes to appreciating "excellent writing and design".
people liked Fallout 3, get over yourself. I personally liked New Vegas a bit more because it had more content.
"you don't have any taste" doesn't mean anything anyway. taste is stupid.
