W. came out while Bush was in office
But the movie sucked. I only smiled once, that was basically it. The animations in this movie suck also.
well maybe Obama could do something if the republicans didn't block every fucking thing he proposed. Seriously, his administration is going to run it's self into the ground at this pace.
...That's the point of the complete stonewalling. Refuse to let anything of any kind happen, then blame him for failing to solve our problems. [editline]04:30PM[/editline]
Hate the beliefs, not the person.
Hate the person because he holds idiotic, ignorant, and intolerant beliefs. :colbert:
Hate the person because he holds idiotic, ignorant, and intolerant beliefs. :colbert:
They most likely think the same of you. Hate only breeds more hate. Being vicious towards a person makes them act in kind the same way.
So... don't watch the film and we are saving money already! and they are wasting theirs, very hypocritical.
You know, the thing about Michael Moore is that however you might disagree on views, I think he is fairly well intentioned and believes in what he speaks. Most of his views are sociable and for the most part he cares about other people. Some of the stuff in his movies seem a bit propagandized and that disappoints me a bit, but nobody is perfect The opening of that trailer made me worried. The fact that they had a man such as Ronald Reagan who was a corrupt and essentially just as bad as any soviet leader, I really gotta wonder about what they are trying to teach people, and I even have to sort of question their sanity. Conservatism, just by it's basic fundamentals is a selfish, and even mildly sociopathic point of view. The fact that some people can be so delusional as to say something that redistribution of the wealth is "theft" is completely alarming. Every rich conservative I've ever met (I work in rich neighborhood, so I run into them frequently) are usually people who are born into their wealth, most of whom have never worked a fucking day of hard work in their life. It's depressing that they actually think that they are entitled to all of their hoarded money, and that they that can't even part with a bit of it to better other people who aren't as well off, yet most of the time work just as hard or harder than them on a day to day basis. On top of that, I heard the word "socialism" thrown into that trailer numerous times. Obama is nowhere near a socialist, very few of his ideas are even remotely socialist. It just goes to show this delusion people like this live under, anywhere else in the world, they'd be viewed on the extreme right, and the fucking National Socialist Party would be all over their ass to join in the fun. As much as I think that people of apposing spectrum should be able to make Michael Moore-ish films, if you actually watch what they say in that trailer, many of these people must be living under complete, self righteous delusions. it's fucking scary to imagine that people like this exist. Its not a matter of petty opinion, a lot of these people ARE clearly insane.
Saarhgh so fucking stupid
At the tail end, when he was a lame duck. [editline]11:42AM[/editline] A little different
It came out October 17th, a month before the elections. guess we'll see what happens to this President in November....I forsee angry people voting out a lot of Dems...
Clayganomics
I don't remember Democrats making films about Bush during his presidency. Usually after. Are Republicans still butthurt after losing their power in the White House?
There were dozens of them, One including a parody of what happened if Bush was assassinated.
Clearly it wasn't very memorable.
Clayganomics
To be honest, the animation looked like if it were made by Video Brinquedo.
It's like Wallace and Gromit with added demagoguery.
More like it's like Wallace and Gromit except utter shit and totally boring and stupid.
Conservatives need to stay away from documentaries they don't know how to do it right. I just saw Bowling for Columbine and that was great, this however will be a gigantic pile of shit.
CONSERVATIVES CANNOT BE FUNNY!!! The rules are they get crazy, we get funny, and both get written off by the mainstream respectively.
Hopefully it will be as good as "An American Carol".
that was a terrible movie, almost as bad as the other shitty parodies that came out around that time i was especially disgusted by the film-maker's fantasy about shooting the ACLU
this film will be full of "facts". Things that can be misconstrued to mean what the conservative party needs them to mean while not meaning that at all. The use of the word "Socialism" has already ruined this movie. Republicans aren't art oriented, they should stay away from this shit. [editline]03:41PM[/editline]
How stupid are you guys? The government spent $700 billion bailing out companies. You know what, 1.2 billion of those dollars went to CEO's bonuses.
How stupid are you? The republican government under bush did the first bailout, but republicans have selective memory and forget that.

Rape face.
Hate the beliefs, not the person.
no, hate the people that promote them
Obama would beat the shit out of Reagan in a boxing match.
Obama would beat the shit out of Reagan in a boxing match.
Reagen believed in Reagenomics. He clearly had a brain smaller than a dinosaurs(whilst looking like one). I think Reagen has the advantage in a fight due to the fact he can't be knocked out. He's barely classifiable as conscious ever.
Reagan is also dead. [editline]05:31PM[/editline] So Obama wins by default

At least Reagen cleaned up Carter's mess. And don't you dare say he didn't. Carter's stupidity caused the highest inflation of the last century, 10%+ unemployment, and the holding of many American hostages in Iran. The day Reagen signed in as president was the day the hostages were released.
Who is this Reagen you speak of? I think you mean Ronald Reagan

I think you mean ronald reagan
SPELLING DAMN YOU
Obama would beat the shit out of Reagan in a boxing match.
He's already beating Reagan at a presidency match
He's already beating Reagan at a presidency match
If only republicans could realize that you don't have to be a far right nut job to make the country better. In fact, it's probably best to not be on the right.
Carter didn't leave a mess. [editline]05:59PM[/editline] SPELLING DAMN YOU
Yes he did. The world stomped all over him because he was weak. He stagnated the economy. You know, theres a reason why he lost re-election to Ronald Reagan. [editline]09:45PM[/editline]
If only republicans could realize that you don't have to be a far right nut job to make the country better. In fact, it's probably best to not be on the right.
Reagan wasn't a nutjob. According to the people here on FP, anybody who leans to the right a tiny bit is a far right nutjob. Left isn't the only way to go, you know.

Also, Reagan got the election due to, I don't know, being placed there and practically having bought the election? Being a fiscal conservative means nothing, sometimes they work, often they don't due to the fact deregulation is just... a fucking bad idea.
-wait never mind-
