but they are not respecting OUR cultures by attacking others for not being like them and trying to force THEIR beliefs and customs on us. Islam in america has existed peacefully for decades because they respect the laws and customs of this country and are not trying to radicalize it.
still you're right hes a prick for assuming anyone who believes in religion is an idiot, especially since atheism has essentially become a religion unto itself

how has atheism essentially become a religion unto itself?
also i love how athiests always use science as some sort of holy-book to justify athiesm.
how many countless scientists throughout history have been devout worshipers?
[sp]a lot[/sp]
so you don't believe that the earth revolves around the sun?
Tell me this, can you prove that the sun does? Yes. Can you prove that the sun is made out of water? No.
Can you prove there is an invisible rabbit that you cant see, touch, smell, taste, or hear in space when there is no possible to detect it's existence? No. Can you disprove it? No.
The concept of god is completely different from the obvious sun in the sky that we can physically see.
Rejecting the idea of an being that created life/universe is just as arrogrant as blindly following one.
how has atheism essentially become a religion unto itself?
if you don't believe in anything, great, don't go labeling that then proceed to criticize others who worship something for not worshiping your lack of deity.
also there are people who actually put togather celibrations that coincide with religous holidays just to celibrate the fact they don't believe in anything. they gather to mock religion, in what sense is this not a religion?
also i love how athiests always use science as some sort of holy-book to justify athiesm.

i don't think you get anything about atheism

hitler was also a worshipper if you want to equate the adherents of a religion to the validity of the religion.
kinda like how theres an anarchist political party.....its all just degrees of hypocrisies

believing something only because you can't disprove it is incredibly stupid

so it is arrogant to assume that there is not an invisible rabbit that you cant see, touch, smell, taste, or hear in space when there is no possible to detect it's existence?
also i love how athiests always use science as some sort of holy-book to justify athiesm.

''there are religious scientists therefore science doesn't contradict religion''. you could have a long, successful career in science while believing in the existence of ghosts but that doesn't mean they're fucking real, that just means there's one idiot who believes in them and chose science as the field they want to work in. I'm seriously having trouble believing that a conscious human typed out what you just posted.
believing something only because you can't disprove it is incredibly stupid
Who said anything about believing in god? This is about agnosticism.
hitler was also a worshipper if you want to equate the adherents of a religion to the validity of the religion.
i'm not sure what your implying there... i was just stating that like every athiest who tries to justify it seems to use the argument that science disprooves god(s). if that was so, then why are there countless prominent scientists who are still devout worshipers? science may tell us how the universe works, but it still cannot ever answer the question as to if there is someone behind the curtain pushing buttons or turning gears to keep the universe as it currently is or if events are guided by that being's will.
Who said anything about believing in god? This is about agnosticism.
i said nothing about god where are you getting that from
Tell me this, can you prove that the sun does? Yes. Can you prove that the sun is made out of water? No.

It's the job of the person making the claim to prove it. It's impossible to prove a negative, by its very nature.
so it is arrogant to assume that there is not an invisible rabbit that you cant see, touch, smell, taste, or hear in space when there is no possible to detect it's existence?
You can assume but stating it as some sort of undeniable fact is arrogrant.
i'm not sure what your implying there... i was just stating that like every athiest who tries to justify it seems to use the argument that science disprooves god(s). if that was so, then why are there countless prominent scientists who are still devout worshipers? science may tell us how the universe works, but it still cannot ever answer the question as to if there is someone behind the curtain pushing buttons or turning gears to keep the universe as it currently is.
because you can have god and science together
they're not mutually exclusive

except that's not what it is at all. religious beliefs are criticized for the ignorance they perpetuate and the outdated morals and sometimes dangerous ideals they spread. and what? how is that a religion? celebrations are the least part of religion. show me the dogma that atheists adhere to, show me the texts that atheists accept without proof as a divine guide
i'm not sure what your implying there... i was just stating that like every athiest who tries to justify it seems to use the argument that science disprooves god(s). if that was so, then why are there countless prominent scientists who are still devout worshipers? science may tell us how the universe works, but it still cannot ever answer the question as to if there is someone behind the curtain pushing buttons or turning gears to keep the universe as it currently is.
people tend to believe in god more at the frontiers of knowledge. it's a "god of the gaps" thing. people used to believe lightning was some form of divine intervention until we figured out how it worked.
You can assume but stating it as some sort of undeniable fact is arrogrant.
well i guess it's arrogant to state ANYTHING as undeniable fact when you get down to it. but it's still far more idiotic to assume something that can't be proven or disproven to be there, is there
You can assume but stating it as some sort of undeniable fact is arrogrant.
that's like 90% of atheists. that's why the term "agnostic" is generally redundant. most atheists admit that you cannot prove or disprove the existence of god, but assume the negative until there is evidence to the contrary.
that's the logical and scientific way of doing things.
except that's not what it is at all. religious beliefs are criticized for the ignorance they perpetuate and the outdated morals and sometimes dangerous ideals they spread. and what? how is that a religion? celebrations are the least part of religion. show me the dogma that atheists adhere to, show me the texts that atheists accept without proof as a divine guide
i'm not saying that religions are perfect, mostly the dogma that exists is just leftovers from eras past where someone asked why this is and the church answered with the best they could come up with. theres nothing really in the bible to support geocentricity, because the bible is just a book of how you should live your life, its not really ment to answer questions like this, but at some point somebody decided to make it answer.

without the dogma the religions wouldn't exist.

could you please summarize i'm not going to watch a 2 hour video for this
kinda like how theres an anarchist political party.....its all just degrees of hypocrisies
That party assumes every atheist is a progressive liberal. Its more of a gimmick or joke party.

except the way it tells you to live your life is to beat disobedient children to death and make sure you marry a woman if you happen to rape her.
As an great man once said, “The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.”
