I'm against it for multiple reasons, none of which are on that list.
Theres plenty of good reasons to be against it, I'm just saying that it seems the Tea Party base has been brainwashed from those things.
Maybe they'll use a picture from a completely different rally for the Tea bagger protests, like they did that other time...
I bet they were pissed when Stewart kicked 'em in the balls.
Holy shit it seems that they are voting for real this time.
So now they are voting on "Agreeing to the resolution".
Does that mean this is the final vote?

Nah they're voting on a debate. So if this passes we have two hours of debate to sit through first.
God damn.

Oh my.

Good night then, for the sake of America and it's people, I hope I wake up to news of it's passage.
Then it will have to go through the senate so it's not a big deal even if it does pass.
well the bill's not perfect (individual mandates are shit and something needs to be done about the bullshit prices of prescription drugs) but hopefully it will be the start of something better in the future
i will enjoy the thrashing of the tea party (unless they shoot someone)

Harry Reid said they would try to attempt a public option in the future, but I highly doubt it. After all the trouble they've been doing over it, I'm surprised Democratic leadership is even settling for this shit. On the other hand, this is maybe what they truly wanted.
Really I think if the Democrats gave a damn they could have made a real drive for reform. They wasted their power in Congress and gave Republicans a morale boost.

im serious you can't get nothing done unless you break it first
Ooh, I'm all excited...
Break a leg, Obama!
Don't be surprised if the FBI show up at your house.
I just changed the channel to Fox News to laugh.
Anybody remember that part in the live broadcast where the speaker was saying "The house will be in order!" when people were standing up to get drinks of water during speaker's turns?
Guess what. Fox News edited that clip with a WOO, RAH, RABBLE RABBLE soundtrack in the background to make it seem like it was some big guffaw.
I've been watching it all day, it's been a blast watching people like Cavuto say the bill will pass through gritted teeth. Almost as good of a feeling as biting into a very nice cheesecake.

The tears of Fox commentators are as sweet to me as a fine cognac...

I always thought Cavuto was pretty chill, is he getting more right wing?
Seriously? Cavuto and Fox and Friends are probably the most evil shows on the entire channel because you don't see it coming at all.
[editline]06:23PM[/editline]
I mean he's calm when he speaks but that's probably because he's gellin'

I guess I never watched any of the shows, just got glimpses. Compared to Beck he looks pretty calm haha.
Are you really Obama?

What do you think?

Neil Cavuto is definitely one of the more moderate and calmer of the Fox commentators.
I don't watch Fox and Friends so I can't compare it to anything.

Watch the debate on the floor.
It's gotten to the point where I don't care if it passes. We've known it would pass for mouths, it was just a matter of delaying it.

Oh, and I like that guy's bicycle pin. He looks like a total hardass.

no it's just been a matter of congress gutting and shredding the original bill, turning it into a cruel mockery of the reform it was once intended to bring about

Well actually it's more like collecting taxes for four years to supposedly pay for the reforms and then keeping the billions in revenue even in 2014 because we are in a deficit.
shep smith is the best guy on fox
greta van susteren isn't SO bad sometimes

No clue how Shep still has a job there.

Can I give you a high five?
Can I give you a high five?
Uh.. err.
I'm sorry, this is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.
*holds back tears*
Well it seems the republicans have defeated most of the important socialist reforms we had hoped to bring about, but don't you worry, we'll get you next time insurance companies!
*red smokebomb*
ugh, I'm still split on this matter. On one hand I agree that we do need some sort of new reform but on the other the new taxes that they are adding to it don't seem very tax payer friendly..
