On the off chance you'll get OCD and try to kill yourself?
What even is this comment. This is like a meta level of circle jerking, it's blowing my mind.

Selfie Addict? Thats a term now? What the fuck
Funny, I got an email from Photojojo today with the subject "Selfie Help Book"
Hopefully this guy gets some help. I can't understand why he would go to such lengths but I understand the root of his actions, I think.

Oh god, I just started hearing this on the radio. And I love it. It's so great.
those selfies are awful i can see where he's coming from
Aaaand here comes Kondor the asshole
Not one smile. All it would have taken was a smile. Pissed off and angry or duck lips was all he could do.
I take a proper profile photo every 3-4 months usually and I have lights, reflectors, and everything.
This kid is in a tough position because he's horrible at selfies, so he keeps trying.
how does one spend 10 hours trying to take a damn selfie?
It's not like the old pieces of art that people had to spend, like, 7 hours sitting still for. and you had to deal with what you got.
OCD and body dysmorphic disorder. It's not like he took 10 hours to set up one photo; it says he took about 200 photos in that time period. Three minutes to set up each photo, and each one isn't good enough so you keep taking them, desperately needing the one that magically makes you feel adequate, and it never happens.
He looks good.
addiction to taking selfies is becoming so widespread it is now is a recognised mental illness.
This is totally true. Every time I head to class, sit down and take a glance around, there's these girls who keep on taking selfies of themselves or go on their phones whenever the teacher ain't looking - they can't survive without it.
Modern Narcissus
Except Narcissus didn't try to kill himself, he was just fucking stup- oh.
so what stopped him from killing himself
After hundreds of hours taking pictures, he's trained himself to one be able to fire one thing, the shutter of a camera!

Yes, as society changes, so does addictions. Who would've thought?
Too bad he didn't kill himself, would have been a good example of natural selection.
