Stupid phone, caused me to accidentally rate useful instead of winner :v:
Interesting to see them take up the Mirror's Edge series again. Correct me if I'm wrong but a while back didn't EA say they didn't have any plans to continue with a second game? Either way, it's good to see them wanting to expand on Mirrors Edge. I'd love to be able to roam the city to the street level and play free mode online.
I like Frank Gibeau, EA was falling apart before he turned it around. Sure they still make some shitty games purely to earn money, but at least they're trying to increase the quality of their games now.
Like Dragon Ages 2? Yeah.....
Like Dragon Ages 2? Yeah.....
Dragon Age 2 wasn't THAT bad.
I bet it will have less features, less story, more weapons, is focused on MP and it'll get raped by tons of DLC.
Not sure if I should be excited, I don't like that they said they are trying to find a way to broaden the audience Sounds like DA2
Hurrah, this is excellent news!
Who ever disagrees with this statement should be side kicked off a building by faith from Mirror's Edge
I hope they really improve on the story, Mirror's Edge had a terrible storyline but great gameplay. And coop/race multiplayer modes would be great, time trial got boring quick.
I bet it will have less features, less story, more weapons, is focused on MP and it'll get raped by tons of DLC.
The first didn't have a story worth following anyways.
I love Mirror's Edge for everything it is.
It'll come back as an FPS. Guarantee it.
something tells me this time we will be playing as the cops shooting down runners with customizable machineguns and zombie modes
And hopefully Activision will start following this mentality soon. Just kidding, of course.
Hopefully Activision can pull their shit together, EA is starting to.
Hopefully Activision can pull their shit together, EA is starting to.
I'd like to know which planet that is, must be better than this shithole.
Then i wonder who the mayor is with all those rats and shit?
Hopefully Activision can pull their shit together, EA is starting to.
Like THAT'LL ever happen.
I hope next they un-murder the CnC series, after Generals it just went downhill. RA3 was crap, especially in comparison to RA2, and they destroyed everything that made CnC what it was in CnC4. They need Westwood back to handle the CnC series, because whoever is doing it now is doing a shit job at it.
Who ever disagrees with this statement should be side kicked off a building by faith from Mirror's Edge
Come at me, faith.
Yay Mirrors Edge 2 if they can fix the problems of the first it will be amazing
I wonder if this is a legitimate stance for EA, or a provocative reply to Activisions recent, unsavory practices as a publisher. Luckily Modern Warfare 2 came out so people stopped hating EA and starting hating Activision.
lets hope its a good one!
something tells me this time we will be playing as the cops shooting down runners with customizable machineguns and zombie modes
But get this, the main protagonist is BETRAYED by his superiors and used as a scape goat and finds himself on the other side of the fence. It will be such a twist!!
No EA, I thought you were a producer not a developer. Obvious EA sports reference in the title.
We're actively working on ideas in the Mirror's Edge universe; we just haven't locked on a way to bring it back so that fans will be excited and at the same time we get to a bigger audience.
As long as it's multiplayer, longer single player and such great. If it's "BIG THOUGH MANLY RAAWWWRRR BIG MUSCLES MANLYNESS SMASH MUCH GUNS SHOOT" then not so great.
Dice should focus on BF3 :argh:
oh lawl u so funny
Mirrors Edge would be awesome with Multiplayer.
Maybe, but it definitely doesn't need it. I found it enough fun to play against my friends on the time trail until it got to the point where beating each other by a millisecond was a huge success. An SDK would be nice though.
The first didn't have a story worth following anyways.
I agree it didn't have much of a story but that might have been where they where just testing the market.
