Can they seek the death penalty if they are trialed in New York? Well, since they might be terrorists, probably the law won't apply.

Some guy will walk in and shoot them. I guess that is what they're hoping for
Some guy will walk in and shoot them. I guess that is what they're hoping for
I wouldn't be surprised. If any of the cases get thrown out, they'll be walking out the door into a New Yorker firing squad.
Let them sit in jail for life, don't kill them. 1. If they did do 9/11 then they get punished rather than the easy way out (death) 2. If they didn't then eventually they might regret their choice of taking responsibility for the crime
Don't you guys mean trialed, not tried? Or am I missing something?
hey guys guess what guilty
Put them in jail and let them be pushed around there for the rest of their life.
There was another thing about how the administration is think of moving the Gitmo detainees 150 miles from Chicago in a super prison where there are only 200 minimum security inmates out of the 1600 cells they have. Fox News hates that idea for some reason, lol, apparently it's ok if we are a fascist nation with gulags and secret police.
They're gonna have a rough time in prison. Don't drop the soap.
Well, this is a nice surprise, or bad, I'm not sure. I figured that they would kill them and just be like "uhh wups where'd he go... Oh well"

Surprise ending; the court finds the defendents not guilty. Now that would be a twist.
They're gonna have a rough time in prison. Don't drop the soap.
they're not going to prison...
Surprise ending; the court finds the defendents not guilty. Now that would be a twist.
That's when the civilians and the second amendment come in.
That's when the civilians and the second amendment come in.
i wouldnt be surprised if it comes in even AFTER they're found guilty
Surprise ending; the court finds the defendents not guilty. Now that would be a twist.
The court should do that and leave the crowd react for maybe 60 seconds then go like "j/k execution"
The court should do that and leave the crowd react for maybe 60 seconds then go like "j/k execution"
Haha, that'd be fantastic, just imagine the crowd's reaction... And then they come out like "Just kidding v:v:v"
Chatspeak? Really?
I find myself using it all the time now that smartness is gone. You are the first one to give a shit about something no one gives a shit about, congrats.
This is a bad idea. It needs to be a military trial, not a civillian one.
This is a bad idea. It needs to be a military trial, not a civillian one.
Why is that they aren't even military.
They're part of a para-military organization that will do anything to harm us. Additionally, not all the evidence is admissible in civillian court.
Why is that they aren't even military.
We're not in a war with civilians.
That's when the civilians and the second amendment come in.
Didn't realize the second amendment gives citizens the right to shoot people who have been found not guilty in a court of law. I don't see how they'll be able to get a fair trial anyway. They won't be able to find a jury that isn't bloodthirsty.
Yay finally Bush and Rice are getting tried.
The case won't hold water because the jury will be inevitabley biased. If you can find one person in the entire United States that doesn't have any opinion on the 9/11 attacks I will give you one thousand dollars.
We're not in a war with civilians.
Yeah we are, mostly. In fact we're in two wars with civilians. Also the point of having a trial in the first place is to lawfully out if they are part of a para-military organization that will do anything to harm us.
