give 1 USD=1 PEN pls
Damnit. I didn't want CAD being introduced and was totally fine paying gthe exchange rate. Now everything is going to be 10+ dollars more on their store.
No Argentinian pesos? Lame
This is both good and bad. it already pisses me off to no end that I have to hack/fool steam to recognize my client as having a US IP without using say a VPN to even see certain games in the store, for example every total war game except Rome 2 isn't up for purchase on the JP steam store. Now the prices are just fucking silly. Dark souls 2 is now 7,400 yen ($70) as apposed to the normal price of $40. where a lot of other games are somewhat cheaper, for example Hatoful Boyfriend is only 840 ($8.20) as apposed to the US price of $10. I switch between but I'd rather not have to, it was bad before where they messed with prices, most CoD games we're $100 under the JP store now it's just plain wonky. I'd much rather pay an extra 2 USD for a game or an extra dollar for $5 DLC than putting down an extra 30 fucking dollars for a full game.
I wonder how Steam store will be with Mexican Pesos. I just hope that they balance it right,1 USD is like 13$ MEX. Mexican pesos are kinda doomed when compared to other currencies, or at the least the USD. I recall some stuff being cheaper in the US, but from what I hear nowadays, it costs almost the same (e.g 60$USD games cost like 999$ MEX).
Cantadian dollaroonies, thankyou valge
Still no Indian Rupee? And Indonesia Rupiya makes it? Goddamnit, Valve.
I put together a little image to show you my feeling of 'wat' when I look at these prices. For those who don't know 1,000 yen is basically 10 USD. to convert just move your decimal 2 places over and the price for USD is basically that. So $70 for the game but only $18 for the season pass and $7 per DLC.
Oh man, I may have to pay pennies more now.
