Russia is a democracy too.
Being something in name doesn't make you it.
Don't look now to Israel, it might be your homeland.
I know, 108% of Russians said so.
Seriously, by every definition the Russian Federation is a democratic country, it's head of state is elected as well as it's parliament. Unless Putin gives himself the title of "president for life" and the parliament becomes 100% appointed then calling Russia a dictatorship is kind of silly. There are certainly cultural differences which could make Russian society seem more oppressive then ours, especially to social liberals, but if we judged Russia as undemocratic by those standards we would also have to say the United States was undemocratic until social liberalism became the mainstream.
I'd love to be able to say I would enlist if my country was invaded but that would be a lie, I'm afraid of war and if push came to shove I would dodge the drafts. I don't have much going for me in fitness side of things and I'm too much of a Pussy anyway.

It's not like the USA isn't without fixed elections *cough* Florida 2000.
Have the fixed elections in Russia been proven?
Something about Putin's party getting 99.5% of the popular vote in the Chechen republic.
That would make for a great movie.
Kinda happens in Brotherhood of War (good movie imo).

Until our ~two planes get shot down, or more likely fall apart. Well, shit.
