I actually understand how people can say it over and over again like that. I compare my generation to the generation of today, and all I see is filth. Kids these days are douchebags who apparently copy each other forming this blight of pure shit made of swag and stupid crap nobody should care about. A kid these days gets more attention from his peers for having 200$ Nike sneakers that look like crap and the word OBEY written either on their sweater or cap full of stickers, than for actually having responsibility, a certain degree of intelligence and respect for others. If you don't have any of the first, you're a social outcast, a fucking rebel. And now that I think about it, this sort of happened to me. Difference was, showing the stuff that actually does matter actually worked and changed the views of someone who was actually important to me... But yeah, the generation of today is going down the shitter. And before coming off with "oh your generation was probably shit aswell" and "stop being uptight" and all that crap... The people of my generation actually bonded with each other for actualy good reasons instead of wether you had the most expensive watch or sneakers or if you had the shortest skirt out of all the girls or how much you partied till you went blank...
darn kids with their justin beebs and their nikey shoes why cant we go back to the good ol days
darn kids with their justin beebs and their nikey shoes why cant we go back to the good ol days
What happened to the days of Justin Timberlake and Air Jordans :(
darn kids with their justin beebs and their nikey shoes why cant we go back to the good ol days
Back in my day we wore Jordans, now all kids these days is thinking about are their Yeezys and their foams. Slippery slopes I tells ye.
What I mean is that almost everyone follows that mindset nowadays.
Bolded is your problem. There hasn't been some magical change in human psychology in the 10 years since your generation was the new one; you were shitbags, kids now are shitbags, everyone was shitbags.
What films has he said he didn't enjoy?
Bolded is your problem.
"I think it’s like, take a fucking joke. Get over it ... No one can take a joke anymore," he told the magazine, later adding, "I don’t know about Mel. He got drunk and said a few things, but we’ve all said those things. We’re all fucking hypocrites."
Yo alcohol lowers people's inhibitions but it doesn't turn non-racists into racists. If someone says racist shit when they're drunk they're just saying the racist shit they think when they're sober out loud.
Kids these days. My generation was so much better.
if you were a part of the baby boom generation, let me tell you, your generation is absolute shit thanks for the economy

You don't have to be racist yourself to use a racial slur against somebody.
I like Mel Gibson's movies.
They don't.
end when we still have laser swords and guns they won't

The kind of people that you describe go on to become the useless folks of the future. There are plenty of useless 30-50 year old folks out there right now. Where did they come from? They're a bit too old to hail from the current generation. A majority of the people I associate with are kind and respectful. (Most of the time, that is. People can't be perfect every second of the day.) They definitely won't go on to send society down the tubes. They'll do their part for the world, then sit down and complain about the worst the next generation has to offer. Granted, I was never a member of the previous generation so I don't exactly know how different things are, but it's not like every last kid is going to actively try to burn the world to the ground.
And I've never wished for anyone to be "raped by a pack of n-words" because of the way they look.
What films has he said he didn't enjoy?
Probably that lost in space movie he was in, maybe the animated film about Camelot too.
I like Mel Gibson's movies.
I like the Road Warrior.
Not quite. You don't have to be racist yourself to use a racial slur against somebody.
Oh and there's always the whole "I GOT A DUMB IDEA I AM DRUNK DO DUMB" factor that makes drunk people so fucking random. I'm not going to say this is a good thing but, if you haven't wondered the next day, "why the fuck would I say/do that? That is literally the opposite of me," then you haven't been drunk that much. I've reviewed my thoughts the next day and what led me to doing something wild is usually a benign thing. Here's an example that may be true for somebody out there: Person hears the word "coconut." Person thinks about coconut, then remembers they are dark on the outside and white on the inside. Person also remembers that coconuts could be described as hairy. Black people have hair... Person blurts out "THE BLACKS ARE JUST DIRTY WHITE PEOPLE." Nobody know what the fuck Person is talking about because Person was standing in the middle of the room in silent contemplation before blurting that out without provocation.

Do you honestly think we should give drunk racists the benefit of a doubt on the off chance that, just maybe, they're actually talking about coconuts?
Who cares about Gary Oldman nowadays, Garry Newman is THE new shit
Fun fact: I have never actually claimed that Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.
Maybe not world war 2 obviously but there was never a war in Europe after that one, was there?!?! Coincidence? i think not.

You do/say something dumb or bad while drunk, or you put yourself in a bad situation and you get fucked up, you're going to have to deal with the consequences of that because you decided to start drinking.

They have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for their elders and love chatter in place of exercise; they no longer rise when elders enter the room; they contradict their parents, chatter before company; gobble up their food and tyrannize their teachers.
Yeah, this dude was Socrates. Who lived about 2000 years ago. Literally every generation looks at the worst of their successors during their stupid teenage years and makes this assumption.
Fun fact: I have never actually claimed that Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.
He said a bunch of dumb stuff that got public only because he is who he is. I'm p sure that this is the point
He said a bunch of dumb stuff that got public only because he is who he is. I'm p sure that this is the point
Well if he's a dumb racist maybe he doesn't deserve to be a public figure? People have every right to not want to work with, employ, or otherwise make out huge movie star paychecks to abusive drunk driving racists.
Why's it matter if he is openly racist to begin with? I could understand if he was a politician who was representing a group of people and you needed to know he was being fair, but the mans an actor. His job is to make you believe he is the character he is trying to portray. If he's doing his job right, you wont know through his work anything about the man behind the character. That's why I could care less about the personal characteristics of an actor or actress because as long as they are good at what they do. People only care because they are in the public eye and it's something to talk about. I hear more racist comments in the checkout line at Wal-Mart and as long as I don't have to deal with that person, I don't particularly care, who am I to judge?

I've never been a shitbag, and that I can guarantee.
