bunch of old cunts.
Kill them. Seriously you want an example of tyranny you're looking at it.
Yeah, that ended great for us Shooting them will only make you feel better for some time, a trial and a sentence is prison is more than enough.
Shooting them will only make you feel better for some time, a trial and a sentence is prison is more than enough.
Yeah and how do you get to that goal? by force. [editline]19th January 2014[/editline] And it did end pretty good for Romania didn't it?
Yeah and how do you get to that goal? by force.
Yeah sure but that doesn't mean you have to execute everyone when you managed to overthrow em And getting rid of communism ended well for us yeah, but the fact that we killed them on Christmas day doesn't make us happier or anything.

You removed the most tyrannical dictator you've ever had. That was the only way to ensure that he wouldn't be returned to power by loyalists.
weren't there about a million people in those protests? are they planning on arresting a million people?
Didn't it? You removed the most tyrannical dictator you've ever had. That was the only way to ensure that he wouldn't be returned to power by loyalists.
I highly doubt he had any chance of getting out and even coming back to power when the army and the population were against him. I like to think he would've just gotten life in prison with heavy guard and would've just rotten there. Probably wouldn't have been like that, but I still think we could've done it in a better way. It was just too brutal.
I suppose violence works really well against ignorant politicians.
I suppose violence works really well against ignorant politicians.
I don't think that it's ignorance. I think that they realize exactly what they are doing.
I suppose violence works really well against ignorant politicians.
Oh these guys aren't ignorant. They know what they're doing.
In my opinion, a politician working against the will and the good of the people is an example of the ultimate form of betrayal and treason.
So you just described 99% of the politicians lol
I don't think that it's ignorance. I think that they realize exactly what they are doing.
Ignorance towards the well being of the people, that is.
So you just described 99% of the politicians lol
Most politicians don't make it so that you can be detained and processed without trial. [editline]19th January 2014[/editline]
Ignorance towards the well being of the people, that is.
Oh they're completely aware. This has happened several times, one of them they were forced to step down. See Orange Revolution of 04.
Putin promised to help keep Yanukovych in power if he swallowed the whole load.
like 90% of those things in that image are fine
like 90% of those things in that image are fine
Is that you rayhalo?
And as usual protests will ensue, the government will crack down on it with riot police and more forms of oppression, and the international community won't bat an eye. Nothing new.
like 90% of those things in that image are fine
There are 25 items in the list. I'll be generous and ask you to name 22.
Wouldn't surprise me if things are tits up from here on out, there's gonna be bloodshed.
Well this is escalating quickly.
and thus the bloodshed begins.
and thus the bloodshed begins.
Not really that much blood being shed, if the government starts calling on the military to break up protests then maybe.
There be a shitstorm a comin.
Not really that much blood being shed, if the government starts calling on the military to break up protests then maybe.
They have. This does live or hourly updating on it. http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukraine/euromaidan-rallies-in-ukraine-jan-19-live-updates-335218.html
Western Ukraine gives lift to EuroMaidan 3:10 a.m. -- Western Ukraine, where opposition to President Viktor Yanukovych is the strongest and most intense, is proud that it has blocked military units in Ivano-Frankivsk who were destined to Kyiv. Meanwhile, AutoMaidan activists in Ternopil were chasing four police buses up to the neighboring city of Kremenets but were stopped by road police. -- Daryna Shevchenko

Ghandi used violence after peaceful measures failed
thing about Ghandi that people seem to forget is that he got shot and killed. what is the point of a peaceful approach when the response is violence? there won't be much consolation in how honourable and righteous your approach was when you live in a violent suppressive society anyway.
Ghandi is also directly responsible for the Indian-Pakistan war.
Right, that's it then. The time for peaceful demonstration is over, if you want change, string them up.
I am very against violence and especially against killing but when you read about something like this... they've made it an inevitability. When you take away people's rights to protect their rights peaceably, what's left?
This just shows how fucking scared Yanukovich is by the people. Allow me to quote Jorhan Stahl: "The man who seeks excuses for his actions is doomed to fail".
