How could you possibly take my post seriously?
Because it is worded exactly like posts found in every Nintendo thread.
How could you possibly take my post seriously?
Because assuming you were trying to be "le XD ironic funni" your bullshit isn't funny.
How could you possibly take my post seriously?
Don't post like an idiot if you want to be taken seriously.
125 years of doing nothing but re-releasing the same bloody Mario and Zelda games on every console. When will they fucking start innovating?
I don't know what ratings this is getting since I have them disabled, but I hope people are not rating this dumb because this is obvious satire of virulent Nintendo critics, and I find it kinda funny in a low quality, "Poe's law" style.
I honestly can't tell if this is Poe's law in effect.
there needs to be a poe's secondary law for people who can't detect painfully obvious sarcasm
How could you possibly take my post seriously?
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting
I saw people on twitter talking about it and I thought it was a joke. Like how I joke about 1990 being 40 years ago to screw with people who are gullible. I had no idea Nintendo was that old.
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting
But it wasn't ironic shitposting. It was an obvious joke made funny by the implication that Nintendo would have been making games and consoles since the late 19th century. I'll stop now because I don't want to further derail the thread.

Edit: I don't know what kind of reverse psychology you are trying to pull off here.
Just realized, Nintendo has been with me my whole life. I didn't really use the Wii much (and didn't own a DS), but I've started to get into Nintendo again with the WiiU and the 3DS. For me, it all started with Snes but the N64 days are probably my fondest.
shut up about the joke post holy shit you guys are dense
How could you possibly take my post seriously?
Serious or not, it's fucking annoying to hear people spew that shit and it's just so old and redundant now. Think of something new for once. [editline]23rd September 2014[/editline] On topic, I remember the N64 being one of my first game systems. I can't even remember how many countless hours I put into games like Super Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium, Donkey Kong 64, and others. Nintendo has made some quality hardware and software these past few decades (save for the Virtual Boy), and I hope to see more from them for many years to come.
I hate Nintendo. I couldn't get a Gameboy, instead I got Watara Supervision with 3 games and one of those broke. I had no place to buy games for my Super Famicom, and I couldn't afford a N64 or games for it. I will never get over that sadness in my early years :(
I was the kid who had a Sega Genesis and Sonic games as a kid We got a SNES later on but I was more of a Sonic fan to begin with :v:

Do you really think that anyone is that stupid?
Oh yeah, because everyone who 'shitposts' is actually just an idiot who's saving face. Do you really think that anyone is that stupid?
If it's someone that is legitimately this stupid, it's usually evident, no need to drag the thread down any further.
If it's someone that is legitimately this stupid, it's usually evident, no need to drag the thread down any further.
Except its important for people to know how stupid it is, so yes it is
I got a Gamecube for my 9th birthday (12 years ago in almost one week, god damn), plus Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Brothers, and Wind Waker. It was the first "new" console I got that was mine and mine alone. I loved all those games. Melee and Air Ride were games even my brothers loved to play, even though they owned the "grown up" consoles. I loved that little fucking purple box.
I'm feeling like celebrating this by buying a SNES which was my favorite console when i was a kid. Just a PSA, classic consoles as the SNES/NES can be bought dirt-cheap from most resell sites except when you want one in the original box or in mint state, i can get a SNES for 30 euro.
My favorites consoles are the Gamecube and the DS Lite, excellent platforms with numerous great games. 3DS was however a severe disappointment (lack of interesting games compared to DS, terrible screen in the XL version, and I got spoiled by pricetags on Steam/GOG in the past as I couldn't justify spending 40 bucks for a single game) so I ended up selling it and buy myself a Vita instead, which is my first Sony console and happened to be a better purchase in comparaison.

Im not a huge fan of the more recent nintendo stuff, but i spent a good chunk of my childhood glued to the N64, and it was awesome. to make it even cooler my uncle used to work for acclaim when they were making n64 games, so i could see his name in the intro credits of some of my favourite games

Ironically, despite the trolling claims of "Vita has no games" that you could read elswhere, I've found its library to be as enjoyable as the DS Lite.
Well, that's quite the coincidence, just as I'm working on this. [T]http://i.imgur.com/3Xo6Ggl.jpg[/T]
