At birth, the Chinese white dolphins are black. They change to grey, then pinkish with spots when young. Adults are white.
I say sorcery. I have never seen a Chinese black dolphin turn white. Unless someone is making pacts with the devil I refuse to believe a leopard will ever change its spots.
Red eyes.
I'm pretty sure people are just being overly optimistic that there's a possibility that it might be a new species. I can see the resemblance and I'm almost sure it's a cuscus, but it seems odd that since they're located Australia and not China. Seems very odd to me.
The penguin in New Zealand was "odd" too, but nobody was quick to call it a new species.

It was brought in by a person, not found in a natural habitat. That's equivalent to saying if I bring my cat to China then it should be deemed a new species.
But dude, one is orange and the other is white.
How do you explain THAT?!

New species are found almost every year, it's not even a matter of something completely ground breaking and new. It's just that maybe the peasants have known about this animal but scientists have never studied it.
Googled cuscus to see more pictures of it. Got this awesome picture.

This species was only discovered a few years ago according to the article, in Papua New Guinea.
This photo further drives my desire to own one of these as a pet. If that's legal.
I mean, how awesome would it be to have it just chilling out and clinging on your shoulder? :v:
I don't like the looks of it!
I don't like the looks of you. Can we put you to sleep?

I want one as a pet.

Just, what?
What?
Okay, you idiots, here. Obviously you're too blind to see these obvious attributes.

If you're so fucking in denial that teh WNE SPESHEES TAT ISNT A FISH is already known, that you blatantly disagree to such an obvious cousin/match of said species, then you're an idiot and should get the fuck out.

There is a good reason why we don't base species classification on appearance anymore.
Different species.

bats are cute
I'm guessing this is a new Australian hybrid species, like platypi.

Hm, after reading this page, you can disregard what I just posted.
