bad grammar on my part,
imagine the library jump scare expect with women, they scream and run away, if you laugh at that would people see you as a sexist?

nah.
A reboot of Ghostbusters would never be as good as the original, regardless of the cast.
My expectations aren't too high. I just hope it'll be an enjoyable movie on its own, and not "Sex & the City meets Paranormal Activity"

i don't see any possible reason why they would, no
My biggest problem with a modern day Ghostbusters isn't the cast, it's going to be the lack of the 80s atmosphere.
I'm one of the very few people who thought bridesmaids was lame so I probably won't see this.
I think it's funny that it's being billed as "ALL FEMALE GHOSTBUSTERS" instead of "NEW GHOSTBUSTERS"
Kinda makes me feel like the all women thing is what they're advertising.
That being said I do not like Melissa Maccarthy in anything so if she's playing her usual role Im as far away from this mvie as possible

Man the harpoons!
So far this reboot doesn't look good to me, not because of the all female cast, but because this feels like another cheap nostalgia cash grab so far ( but who knows it could end up being at least "guilty pleasure" quality, we'll have to wait and see).

I wish script writers would give her better material, she was damn funny in Mike and Molly. (Damn hot too.)

You wearing beer goggles?
You wearing bear goggles?
I wish I had bear goggles.
I was never bothered by the whole female cast thing, but they picked literally EVERY female actress that I didn't want near this film.
Male? Female? Without Bill Murray, it's still not Ghostbusters.
I can almost guarantee he'll make a cameo appearance that will only serve to remind us that he's NOT a Ghostbuster in this film.
It'll be like the original Starsky and Hutch appearing in the reboot, Face and Murdock in the A-Team, or Depp in 21 Jump Street.
Just another reminder that you could be watching the original instead of what Hollywood churned out.
P.S. I actually thought 21 Jump Street was pretty good.
What if, instead of a reboot, they made a spin-off? That would be interesting, seeing how the rest of the world has coped with ghosts being a thing, and various competitors to the ghostbusters trying to make a living.
In my opinion that would make more sense since they can then get whom ever they like to be the new "spiritcatchers" or whatever, lots of homage and general "ghost industry in 21st century" joke potential, and it sure as shit would be more interesting than "it's a reboot, the twist being they are all women, totally worth a reboot"...
Alright Everyone get ready for your ultra friendly SJW Ghostbusters 3!
But seriously. Why the fuck are they doing this?
Why didn't they go with L4D-formula: 3 guys, 1 girl.
It sounds filthy on the paper but it works... sort of.

Johnny Depp actually did play his original character in the movie, though.
The cast tells you everything that you need to know about the film. So fucking formulaic that you can predict the jokes already.
Why all female cast though? Cant there be a mix?
males are inferior, we're finally fixing ghostbusters
So we can expect Melissa to play the same character she does in every movie?
the loud annoying, scream the jokes because it's "funny", character?
This sounds more like a comedy version then a reboot.

Ghostbusters was a comedy though...
no this is terrible
i don't care that it's all women, i care that the gimmick is that they're all women
they're very obviously selling it on the fact that the cast is all women, busting ghosts seems like it's taking the backseat
Busting ghosts was just the driver for humor and absurdity in the originals so that's sort of a moot point.
Wow I'm surprised Rebel Wilson actually isn't in this. Her shite acting and humor would fall right alongside Melissa McCarthy perfectly.

"A female cast?! What is this SJW feminist tumblr bullshit?"
[editline]d[/editline]
The one thing I can say I'm remotely interested in is seeing the main villain of the movie.
It'd be funny if the movie was actually good.
Too bad it wont be though.
You wearing bear goggles?
I like fat chicks. I guess that could be considered permanent beer goggles.

I think it's less about being a movie with an all female cast and more about taking a previously male cast and making it all female.
If it was just a new movie with an all female cast I don't think anyone would have a problem.
That's probably where all the "SJW" stuff is coming from.
