Not all Americans like guns, congrats on generalizing there.

Canada (even Justin Trudeau) prides itself on our illustrious history with firearms. Guns are an integral part of Canadian culture and history, they're the main driving force behind why our nation exists, which was for hunting and trapping furs for the rich Europeans, and were essential for the fur trade, which was responsible for the foundation of the Hudson's Bay Company, North America's oldest business. Canada prides itself on its guns as well, even the Liberals, and nobody who knows a thing about our national history can deny the important part guns have played in our nation.
I challenge anti-gun folks to visit a shooting range some time and actually give it a try. It's a load of fun. Please, I speak for all gun enthusiasts when I say I'll respect your opinion a lot more if you try to understand it from my point of view.
Those that do are complete idiots who revel in the fact that they are surrounded by murder-machines, firing them at targets/cans/mice, which gets them off.
I hope you get murdered with one of those babykilling assault rifles
I hope you get murdered with one of those babykilling assault rifles
Definitely not the way to prove gun enthusiasts aren't violent
I get that it was a joke but it's not really that funny either
Definitely not the way to prove gun enthusiasts aren't violent
I thought all of you gun-toting rednecks were school shooters just hanging by a thread? I've only seen one actual firearm in my life, that was an unloaded m15 that was being raffled off, the money from the raffle going to the Wounded Warriors program
Not all Americans like guns, congrats on generalizing there.
Sucks for those people who don't like guns then.

Damn you got me
Sucks for those people then.
No, not really.

Seriously, what is with you anti-gun nuts and your gross generalizations?
I thought all of you gun-toting rednecks were school shooters just hanging by a thread?
Shit, wish I had known I was a redneck back when the rednecks at my school wanted to harass me.
I think he's just messing guys.

Sucks for you deal with it.

Or at least 3, as the ratings would indicate. :v:
Absolutely all of them
Holy wall of blabs.
Guys, guys, fucking guys,
If you're going to hunt with them, yes. That's completely reasonable. Fine. What I refer to is the people who have them for the sake of having them. A hunter can have as many firearms as he pleases because he uses them, not "Johnny Gas in _____ who has an AK47, a SCAR, three shotguns, 6 handguns and another two high-powered rifles with night-scopes "Because I need to purtect my house". This kind of flexing of the 2nd amendment makes my head spin.
A hunter, practically speaking, only needs one gun - maybe two, depending on what he's hunting.
Most enthusiasts have guns because they think they are cool and enjoy shooting targets, usually with friends in friendly competition. What is so wrong with that? I don't get it.
What's wrong with having them "for the sake of having them"? What is so wrong with target shooting that you hate? Come on man, it doesn't have to be like this.
lol guess my work is done here, that last post is my entire stance on guns. They're dangerous, and unless you have a practical use for them, they're pointless killing-machines.
Just like yo-yos. They're killing machines and should never be used as toys

Second amendment isn't about hunting.
It is meant for us to keep our weapons to defend ourselves from the government.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
It is saying IF there is a well regulated militia(armed forces controlled by the government). The people have the right to keep and bear arms to be used maybe possibly against them.
Most important part... get ready for it.. shall not be infringed
archery an olympic sport? fuck nah
you know interchangeable parts? the whole thing that makes computers and cars and all that crazy fancy shit we've made since, oh, the late 1700s possible? originally developed to refine the firearm manufacturing process
we're all sons of bitches now

if anyone wants to keep doing this "guns were made to kill people" song and dance I've got a looong list here to read to you

A few posts up I easily demonstrated a need for 7 different guns for hunting in Ontario, the number is going to remain roughly constant, but the type will change depending on regional game. A hunter needs more than one gun if they want to hunt everything they can hunt in their region, because a 12GA shotgun can only kill so many things effectively and legally.

I'm not a hunter, so I don't know much about it. I was really only trying to make a point to someone who also, clearly, doesn't know much about it. I'm on your side :v:
