Dont forget the Tavor!
I thought there was a Tavor coming in next year? Or is it the weird 9mm conversion?
Dont forget the Tavor!
I almost included that, but there is a US-compatible version on the way next year...
While I agree that coldroll5's post was dumb, Isn't it that you ARE allowed to own AKs? I just shot a longbarrel AK a year ago.
Nope, all AK rifles except one Finnish one are banned by name, so are the Thompson, FN FAL, Steyr AUG, HK G3 and G-ninetysomething, FAMAS, Berrett M82 and M90, and supposedly the Skorpion. Yet the CZ-858, Norinco T97, Tavor TAR-21, reproduction semi-auto PPSH and Suomi M-31 sub machine guns, reproduction semi-auto GPMGs like the MG34 and Browning M2, the RobArms XCR, and at least 2 variants of the Skorpion are legal. This is why bans by name are stupid, and bans by aesthetic, which is actually the reason a lot of our named guns are banned, are also stupid.

Unless this bill passes.

obama is a fucking idiot

id bet money more than 70% people calling for a ban on guns have never fired a gun in their lives as they sit in their desks doing their pointless ass sissy jobs

DO you know how much paperwork you have to go through?
After this whole thing I actually took in our family's Strumgrewher 44 that I had been taking care of after my Opa died. It took a week's worth of paper work. I don't fire the damn thing, the firing pin is out and the I have no ammo for it because the Kurz round isn't made.
It was in inoperable assault rifle, and yet I had to spend a week under the constant threat of being arrested every time I went in to do the paperwork.

I'd say the paperwork is worth it given that you can own a piece of history and a valuable collector's item
Shit; you might even be able to get it fixed
What if secretly Obama used to work in the firearm industry and he is being subsidized by major gun companies to pretend like he wants to pass a gun control law but then not in order to boost gun sales?
It would also explain why the NRA didn't do much in response to the shooting. Maybe they got wind of it.

I wouldn't be surprised, it's not like he has anything to lose, he can't exactly be elected for a third term. A ton of money has been rolling around since he said anything about it

Source?
Source?
I mean that people are spending shitloads on these so-called "assault weapons", not that any government money is moving.

Wait, can civilians actually get G36's? I've always liked the look of that gun.
