I should really sort out in finding a job, But it's just too fucking hard, there are usually none at all or some but in the wrong field and i have no interest in applying for them.
i hope you're not collecting benefits if this is your attitude about the job hunt
David Cameron cant tell anyone to 'go out and get a job', he's never worked a bloody day in his life. He has no idea how difficult it is out there. This legislation could hurt people who actually need the welfare.
I know a large number of people who do not intend to search for a job in the near future and plan to live off benefits, and I think its down to the fact that their parents are doing just that. Their parents can get on with their life by doing it and also being able to splurge on the latest entertainment systems, whilst also supporting their two children. So why should their kids think that they can not do just that.
I'm not saying everybody who claims benefits is not looking for a job. However when you see people with jobs getting minimum wage trying to support their children and not having the money to spend on luxuries, you can see why the living off benefits might seem appealing to them.
Welfare should be given to people for a maximum of 18 months if they are unemployed. Then when you can find a job, where you work a shift at least once a fucking week you can get welfare to help you live if you don't make enough. Even then they should have to piss in a cup to receive it. You want the handout we pay for, prove it's going to something good and not your drugs.
Cutting welfare is not an answer, but actively enforcing who will use it for the right reasons will help the cost be reduced and keep the money going to the right people.
A lot of people are leeching and no politician has the balls to do anything about them because they'll sound 'insensitive'.
