This doesn't have a hope in hell at being good and if you believe otherwise then you're a delusional child.
I don't know why they bother to always include a comment like this for an upcoming movie. Of course somebody heavily involved in the project is going to say this shit. You're never going to see the article that says "Ford recently said the script sounds like shit, but the pay is good so fuck it."
Actually ford is a huge critic of scripts, when he did Indiana Jones he was pretty vocal to the directors about problems with the script, his original scripts have been put up online and you can see his notes and things he cut out [editline]27th February 2015[/editline]
directors do not write scripts when will people understand this
They can write scripts, they can also produce though its uncommon for a director to write and direct
Pretty much not talking to Harrison at all.
And the repeated takes of almost every scene. From what I remember the Taffey Lewis scene was the only one that needed one take. Not sure how many takes of Tears in the Rain they did, because of the nature of the scene. I remember Ford saying the worst thing about doing Blade Runner was the forced narration. In fact I think his words about it were that the film worked without it and it was the result of idiots who shouldn't work with movies.
Not really that excited unless Ford has a small role. No director can make Ford put a bit more effort into his acting at this point.

I can't recall which documentary it was in, probably On the edge of Blade Runner, but they still had recordings of both Ridley and Harrison agreeing it didn't work. THEN the studio shoved a writer into the mix who pretty much powered through writing new narration overnight.

I can't honestly remember which.
I guess the [sp]Deckard is a replicant[/sp] theory is disconfirmed then?
see i always thought that really undercut the movie. [sp]the replicants act like prematurely aged kids and the humans act like uncaring machines. he starts the movie acting like a machine and by the end he acts like a human, i.e. like a replicant. i would argue that if he was never human to begin with then his arc (and kind of the movie) becomes pointless.[/sp]

If he doesn't like something he's vague, mumbly and sometimes outright says it's for the money. Also a lot of people have met him say he smokes a fuck ton of weed and that's all he did on set for Crystal Skull. A lot of people on the inside say Star Wars 7 is his first heartfelt performance in years and he's genuinely really excited by it all. He is apparently the stand out performance of the film. He's on a high so if he's this excited about the script for Blade Runner 2 I'd believe it.
I guess the [sp]Deckard is a replicant[/sp] theory is disconfirmed then?
I remember hearing a theory that Deckard was really a [sp]Nexus 7[/sp] so it might be able to fit in.
Get Vangelis on it.
I'd like to believe that maybe acting in the new Star Wars re-invigorated Ford a bit, and maybe he got his love for acting back after all these years of acting in sub-par films. [sp]Indy 5 :([/sp]
Please let him have only a small cameo role. I loved him in the original and I loved him in all of his older roles, don't get me wrong, but have any of you seen him lately? He's stopped giving any and all shits about acting. Casting him to a major role will bring the whole thing down.

Rachael is a replicant and she acts seemingly as any other human being.[/sp]
