I love how the Republicans are growing more and more like extremist Muslims. They resent anything that doesn't follow their beliefs to a violent, bigoted extent, they misquote their holy texts to justify their actions, they pass laws to support their own people and lessen the rights of those who don't follow in their footsteps, and they malign opposition's leaders' words to further their own purpose. They've damn near become their most feared enemy, and I'm lost in the irony. EDIT: Then again, half of that is typical American politics, so there is that.

Don't get what the point of democracy is if you can just threaten to override the vote with violence if you don't like the outcome. I'm all for a revolution, but not a revolution against democracy working the way it's intended, more it being overridden by tyranny. Republicans have become so backwards these past 10-15 years.
And by what arms are they going to fight with? They sure as hell aren't going to have the military on their side.

But then again I kinda want to see this happen because again, it would give the Republicans a good slap on their faces.
Anyone have a link to the newsletter in question? The site's link doesn't work anymore, and going back to the main site redirects me to an ugly web 1.0 site for the Greene County chapter of the Virginia Republican Party. I want to be able to show this, but I can't do much if it comes from a site that prides itself on "Real Liberal Politics" rather than straight from the source.
