If you're close to failing a class, missing a test and not being able to make it up will hurt. A lot.
Of course
Full Course Meal.
I imagine Kansas is pretty conservative so this doesn't surprise me as much
No fun allowed. As teens you are now civilized people of society. You will behave. You will be punctual. Any attempt to defy these rules will be dealt with summarily and will not be tolerated if repeated. Most importantly. If I don't see you meet these guidelines I will grant you your wish of a.....disgustingly reckless...lifestyle and prevent you from EVER receiving the civilized education we offered you. Enjoy burger flipping, punk.
I remember when one of our local schools hauled the principal's mini onto the roof of the school. That was not even five years ago that we could get away with shit like that. This year we had students expelled for diesel painting cocks on the field.
What a boring prank. At my old school the students in the year before us used weedkiller to burn dicks into the school field that can be seen on Google Maps. And you know how punished they were? Zero punished
The same thing happened at my High School a few years back.
The same way shooting a baby will teach it not to cry?
That's a fucking awful analogy but I dunno, made me laugh for some reason. This is a stupid suspension, this sort of thing deserves a slap on the wrist. As has been said in this thread before, zero tolerance is bullshit.
To avoid this kind of shit, my school actually runs and encourages senior pranks. It's awesome.
At the schools around here, if you simply show up every day you pass. I can't imagine missing two days will have any impact on these students in terms of grades. Come on, how many tests and other assignments can possibly be crammed into those days? I think these students and that one mom are just bitching about it because they want to 'get away with it' and they can't say they did if it costs them a suspension. As far as the underclassmen, if you were there you were part of it. It doesn't matter if you swam, cavorted while dry, or recorded it, you were part of it. Own up to it.
When I was a freshman, the seniors took the fence outside apart and built a log cabin. They glued it together with maple syrup. :v:

If this is seriously going through, then the entire district board should be fucking sacked.
We filled the classes and staffroom with chickens from a friends farm.
We used to have muck up days for Year 12's until new principal banned it. Years 12's have done the following: Used fireworks and blew up part of a bench Bought a shit load of bread and chucked it in the middle of the road, this road was near a lake with ducks and the ducks would eat the bread, stopping traffic. Get water guns with fish oil and squirt it at people Squirt water guns at passing cars. Dress up in random shit, guys dressing up with a two piece on etc. That aren't allowed to do that shit anymore, which sucks because it was entertaining as fuck.
The senior prank at my school 2 years ago was to go into the dean's office and turn EVERYTHING upside down, including his desk, the chairs, the table, the lamp, and his computer. Did not end well.
Everything upside down? :v:
We didn't have any specific senior-prank during my time. We tossed our gymnastic-teacher into the lake though. Not much he could do when ~20 young men decided to toss him into the lake.
We didnt do pranks. we smoked over the back of the field #essexlife Edit: Actually, someone did piss in a cup and put it in the ceiling of the computer room. Oh also someone cummed over the geek of the years blazer. In class. Maths actually.
Soviet anthem cutting off the pledge on the pa system in the morning, that's a prank.
We each gave our principal a piece of a puzzle during graduation that was our class photo.

Our best school prank was attaching a personal attack alarm to some helium balloons, setting it off, and letting it float upto the top of the hall where no ladder could reach.
Lame prank, my high school has a massive campus with a road running through it. So all the seniors had a parade during 2nd period. Some even turned their trucks into floats, it was glorious.
To avoid this kind of shit, my school actually runs and encourages senior pranks. It's awesome.
Mine was the same way. We covered the first floor of my school with beach decorations then locked the underclassmen in the courtyard and threw smelly food at them from the roof
Instead of suspension, how about giving them detention? (In my own opinion no one should be punished at all - it was a harmless prank)
At my school there was no prank, the class just decided to have a midday celebration in the nearby forest consisting of weed, booze... and fireworks. Sounds dumb right? So several fire trucks responded to the fucking huge fire that got started. In retrospect it is a lot funnier than I had thought at the time, but then I was running away from exploding fireworks so I dunno
A few days of suspension isn't going to do shit to their scores, plus they're seniors, a few days off means nothing
That many zeroes is going to put a pretty big strain on the school system in that area. Many of those students will have to stay an additional year which means they will have to expand a lot of the classes to be able to accommodate the increased number of students.
You know, maybe this is the prank, "Hey, lets make the school loose a few thousand dollars in a year." This is either the best or worst prank of all time.
this was the senior prank in some school in another city near me
John E. Dong Director of Genital Corrections WILL NOT GRADUATE "FAIL" will be given for ALL shaved testicles I died
Everyone at my school got scared out of doing the senior prank after a letter got mailed out. Last year's seniors didn't do much, other than block access to the office with lots of cups of water, and turned up the heat in all the classrooms, unfortunately they broke then thermostat, so it was like 90 degrees for math.
