But society can't choose for me what is good ,what route we must follow, and then force me down on the train with them.
Consult Nazi Germany for more on why that's wrong.
I am in no obligation to help other people, that doesn't mean I SHOULDN'T help other people, but it means that I can't be force to.
Besides do you think promoting for example socialism will lead to the greatest good for all?
Nazis were forced to help people? what book have you been reading? sadly your no restriction government which sounds great would just allow businesses to rule. sure I dont like government telling people what to and not do but sadly in capitalism if you dont then life would be like right after the industrial revolution with people getting paid nothing to do harmful work. since in capitalism (you said this yourself( people will do what they can to help themselves no one will pay for poor people to see the doctors.

You argument about the industrial revolution is ridiculous because our standards of living today aren't because of government legislation but rather the industrialization you deem as so horrible.
Would you help a poor person see a doctor if they were desperately in need, you had the ability, and there was no government system for them to consult?
If they didnt have the money how would they? and really what would stop walmart from giving out the same prices they give to there chinese workers?
Competition.
Competition.
so there is no other companies that arnt walmart in china?
also whats to stop monopoly?
Look at gamestop. It got to the top because it cuts corners not because it has the best deals.
In fact gamestop was so good that its the only game selling place in the L.A. area.
Because we totally don't need fighter planes.

What's to stop a monopoly...
Competition.
Monopoly's hardly exist in a laissez-faire society and if they do they are justifiable.

First explain how the same thing that happened to china wont happen to us and 2 how will competition stop monopoly?

well sleep for me so I will answer your response tomorrow.
As do I but to make the claim that I'm delusional because I know I am great is superfluous, as no one knows me as well as I know myself.
A) Saying you "know you're great" is bullshit. Unless you've done great works, you're not great.
B) You used superfluous wrong. It means redundant, which in your incorrect usage, would actually work - claiming that you "know you're great" speaks volumes about you being delusional, making any further discussion unnecessary.
How about we eliminate state-based educational departments and centralize it federally? Pretty sure that would lead to much better standards.
It would make more sense to do it on a more localized level because in that case a bad standardization won't affect the whole US. Systems that work well will catch on, and systems that don't will be scrapped.
We wouldn't have Texas wielding it's massive textbook influence to negatively affect educational standards because of the outrageous bias of it's school board. Face it, state school boards are an awful thing.
You can't make such a decision with only one piece of evidence. Texas is really the only school board that I know of to get flack for what they do.

The Free Market Fairy will use her Invisible Hand to pour pixie dust to make everyone magically vote with their wallets banish any little imperfections.
while i'm in favour of cutting defense spending, I find it funny how people completely ignore that it will also have pretty damaging effects
cutting the defense budget so drastically is going to put a shitload of people out of work; putting more strain on welfare and fucking up the job market even further. this would also affect numerous private corporations that are spread out throughout the US that develop weaponry and vehicles for the US military, ie Sikorsky etc
Which is a situation that the government has put themselves in. You can't expand your programs that far because it costs a lot, and it causes a huge discourse in cutting funds. Nasa is so overly bloated that it is insane, and the same goes to so many other government run things, but cutting them any causes a huge loss of jobs. There should really be some measures to keep this kind of stuff from happening. The federal government would make a terrible terrible business.

If people listened to a certain Republican president's warnings back when he left office, maybe there would have been measures long ago to prevent what we all see today.

Better not be talking about Reagan.

Wielding it's textbook influence? you think Texas gives a fuck about the rest of the states? (protip; they don't) You act like they were purposefully trying to dictate what happens in other states, when they couldn't give less of a fuck, it's not Texas' fault the textbook industry/other school boards are too fucking lazy to spend more money to produce different textbooks for other states
Also where the fuck is the California School Board? Don't they have a larger population?
Better not be talking about Reagan.
Probably Eisenhower
That's even worse
Poor people spend proportionately more of their income on things than rich people do so sales taxes/VAT are a regressive tax that hurts the poor more than the rich.
It's backwards, which makes it the perfect libertarian ideology.
Consumption is a choice, income is a necessity. I highly doubt the poor would suffer from this. It would slightly raise the price of goods, but on the other hand "tax season" never happens. A consumption tax is predicted to be far more efficient than an income tax so the poor would probably be getting better welfare benefits anyways.
Nonetheless, it's absolutely retarded to base economic policy around the poor or rich.
Are there any others stupid things the government spends money on, stupid things we could cut?
Nukes.
Seriously, the US has so many - but what for? Don't get me wrong, I advocate having a deterrent, but it's like carrying 100 .50 machine guns around with you to deter someone from shooting you. It's overkill.

Not only that, but we could use them to create nuclear energy, which is an extremely efficient AND long term investment.

If we want to speak technicalities you spelled it wrong.
By the way you have a limited understanding of the word, it can be used as "unnecessary" also. I was trying to exhort that by referring to me as delusional is ignorant because you can't possibly understand me as well as I understand myself. So therefore my claim was more rational and less delusional than your own.
Great works do not make a man great.
Greatness comes from inside.
Great men however are the ones that do great things, yes.

How the same thing that happened to China?
Look at the standards of Hong Kong and then the rest of China and you will answer your own question.
Guess which one is more capitalist?

By your standards perhaps.
Do you set my own?

So by your standards, the hobo who thinks he's the second coming of Jesus is great because he thinks so.
So by your standards, the hobo who thinks he's the second coming of Jesus is great because he thinks so.
Greatness has nothing to do with delusional claims.
Claiming you are something that you rationally are not such as Jesus is delusional.
Any man is great if he respects and follow his values absolutely which do not cause force upon others.
For me to consider another man great there are values which I have to witness him exhibit.

And I believe you're confusing "virtuous" with "great".

I do mean virtuous.
A great man is a moral one.
What do my values matter to you other than to criticize?
I'll tell you my supreme value and that is the pursuit of my own happiness here on Earth.

So you're saying that selfishness is the mark of a great man?
