Oh I haven't heard that one before. [editline]21st January 2011[/editline] Just because someone once posted that on their blog doesn't mean it's true.
True. The fact that it's true makes it true.
Strider* has this really funny way of viewing the world through ultra-capitalist eyes and totally misunderstanding and misrepresenting the things he hates.
Well you do seem to be a slave to your political group. sure I like the people who changed my opinion but I am willing to disagree on some things.
I am not a slave to my political group. If you mean to imply that I am a libertarian and follow all of their policies you are wrong. I disagree with their direction at times. Guess it's a full circle buddy.

[editline]21st January 2011[/editline] Huh kinda like how you totally misunderstand and misrepresent capitalism. Guess it's a full circle buddy.
Where and how do I misunderstand capitalism? Please explain. You've demonstrated clear flaws in your knowledge of other political systems, where have I ever represented my knowledge about capitalism? OH WAIT! You're just making an assumption to appear to be on an even playing field. No, you really don't know what the hell you're talking about when it comes to communism and socialism. And you have a historically flawed view of capitalism. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] Also, I don't hate capitalism. Capitalism is required. Capitalism is part of other systems. It just doesn't work on it's own.
Huh kinda like how you totally misunderstand and misrepresent capitalism. Guess it's a full circle buddy.
This is coming from the guy who believes that unrestricted Laissez-faire Capitalism is the best economic system.
strider you still have not shown how people will stop monopoly and people getting payed 3$ an hour.
“To be a socialist, is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole.” - Joseph Goebbels [editline]21st January 2011[/editline]
strider you still have not shown how people will stop monopoly and people getting payed 3$ an hour.
Competition. I don't have to explain it.. it's so easy to understand. But I will if you'd like after I finish this paper. [editline]21st January 2011[/editline]
This is coming from the guy who believes that unrestricted Laissez-faire Capitalism is the best economic system.
It is the most fair and free.

Even for you. They had no clue what socialism was/is. Just like you.
Did you seriously just quote Goebbels? Get the fuck out, Nazi scum.
Wow in about five minutes are going to realize you're an idiot.
“To be a socialist, is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole.” - Joseph Goebbels [editline]21st January 2011[/editline] Competition. But I will if you'd like after I finish this paper.
Did you really just compare all Socialists or even Socialism in general to Nazism/Fascism? The Nazis were Fascist for fuck's sake. And oh yeah, if someone asks what you mean when you say something, especially in a debate or political argument, your response should not just be one word followed by "I don't have to explain it." It makes you look like an idiot.
Wow you're retarded.
I'm not the one who quoted Nazis to refute an opposing philosophy.
Competition.
You know the consumer doesnt really care what you pay the employees as long as you have low prices. this has been shown many times. you say that word like it will fix all problems. Game stop sucks but yet its the top game company just because they are all over the place.
Wow in about five minutes are going to realize you're an idiot.
You're going to feel- who am I kidding, you're never going to realize why what you just said is fucktarded. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline]
I'm not the one who quoted Nazis to refute an opposing philosophy.
Nazi's were vehemently anti socialism. Do you think they knew an actual think about it? God no. Just like this guy.
I'm not the one who quoted Nazis to refute an opposing philosophy.
You referred to me as nazi scum signifying the point of posting that quote went completely over your head. You didn't realize that Goebbels was advocating socialism. Someone should learn some history, yeah? I however for Piggy's sake will elaborate after I'm done working.
You referred to me as nazi scum signifying the point of posting that quote went completely over your head. You didn't realize that Goebbels was advocating socialism. Someone should learn some history, yeah?
First off, I've shown on multiple occasions that your grasp of history is flawed. Secondly, Nazism/fascism is in no way socialism - as one of the first fascist leaders said: "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power" -Benito Mussolini

It isn't even fucking relevant.

Ok now we are arguing over quotes. could you please just explain how taking away government would some how make a better world? who cares who said what or who believed what. what really matters if your idea will work or not. all you said was one word, competition. Explain how being greedy will ever make a nice good company that doesnt pay people 3$ an hour to do hard shit.

It's expected of someone to explain their points and give reasons for them in a political argument or debate.
you know, if you're looking for a libertarian paradise you should move to somalia
That's pretty much exactly like saying "you know, if you're looking for a Socialist paradise you should've moved to the Soviet Union". Learn the difference between disorder and libertarianism and stop getting your arguments off of youtube.
...So you really think fasicsm is a form of socialism? man, my university proffs would laugh you off campus.
Not fascism. The Nazi party was against capitalism.
Not fascism. The Nazi party was against capitalism.
Yeah, which doesn't mean it was socialism... Do you think any and all form of dictatorships are socialism? my profs would still laugh you away. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline]
Not fascism.
Because businesses will be in competition for workers, duh.
So didnt this work for china or for people in the early 1900nds? why do people work at walkmart or gamestop if they treat there workers so bad? why dont Africans demand more money for there hard work? Sure soem businesses will give a little more but they will be filled up fast also what is to stop companies from simply using machines instead of workers? machines do the work better and they dont have to hire anyone.
...So you really think fasicsm is a form of socialism? man, my university proffs would laugh you off campus.
The National Socialist movement encouraged socialist policies. Fascism utilized corporatism. The difference is: Socialism sought/seeks to increase equality through the government regulation and shaping of the economy. Corporatism sought/seeks to increase the strength of an economy (for military purposes) buy molding together the private and public sectors. It's downright stupid to associate economic systems with social belief systems. Just don't do it!
