American's being stupid is pretty old news.

I blame the education though.
What's with all the boxes.
Oh I get it you're rating the American's in the video. :v:
I'm blown away by this.
Why does it seem like no Facepuncher understands how polling science works?
I don't expect people to understand the complex mathematical formulae behind it all but sample sizes and margins of error are dead simple
It's facepunch, as many of us that DO understand things as there are, there are many more facepunchers that are almost categorically retarded.
And the math behind polling REALLY isn't that complicated, a high school grad should understand it.
Russia. Right?
no, 26% of 1,004 americans don't know who we separated from. these polls are stupid.
ITT: People who don't understand polling.

Hey, you clearly don't understand polling, and discredit it for such a reason.
Pollsters and polling is tricky business when it comes to political issues, but the truth is, simple polls like this are fairly accurate and have a fairly small error range.
This is why I never payed attention in school and graduated with a 4.5 GPA. Public schooling sucks.
How many news thread is this guy going to make?
He'll make as many as he pleases, Prismatex is the News subforum god.
Bow to him.

Depends on the scale the school is using.

Some schools have higher for AP/Honors classes for some stupid reason.
Depends on the scale the school is using.
Never heard of anywhere using a 5 point scale. I thought it was a nationalized scale of 4 or something?

Not using a 4.0 scale makes colleges hate you.

Some schools have ridiculous GPA scales to look better on paper.

Weird. My school counted AP and honor classes in the same GPA, but my bad. No offense meant exploding guy.
I don't even know what that means.

Wow, I just realized that's how I got through this past year with a 3.5.
Yay for AP courses!
no, 26% of 1,004 americans don't know who we separated from. these polls are stupid.
That's 240 people. That alone is sad.

Yeah, my school did the same thing, and just getting a half decent grade in my AP classes made me grad with a 3.6 GPA.
My state did declare independence from Mexico
Maybe only Texans were part of the survey.
It's fairly easy to misread/hear "country" as "county". I think this is actually plausible.
GPA stops at 4.
:downsbravo:
you can take AP and/or IB classes to boost your gpa above 4

fuck that
fuck that
Not all, or even many, schools make AP classes go above 4, mine didn't at least, and I haven't heard of any that have.

"LOL HURR DURR I'M GONNA JUMP ON THE :bandwagon: AND INSULT TEXAS LOOK AT ME I'M SO FUNNY"
How many of the people surveyed weren't born in the country, or gave less of a shit about their education?
I'm calling potential bullshit.

Probably around the same percentage as the general population, if they did the study right.
...Bad at math too, aren't you?
I read it as 24% whatever. So it's even more people. That just furthers my point.

You're a fucking dumbass, he wasn't insulting Texas, that actually happened.
Also he LIVES in Texas, seriously.
They asked 1,004 people. I'm sorry, but that sample size is just way too small to be indicative of anything.

Then you don't know shit about polling.
