Maybe if Israel builds a fence around its entire borders it won't keep usurping Palestinian land.
Kind of ignorant thing to say there. I'm not gonna claim I know dick about this subject, but my general understanding is that there are a lot people coming from even poorer conditions than the poorest in your country. [editline]7th September 2015[/editline] Like, even as we speak, there are probably some people risking their poor lives crossing the border somewhere. Perhaps knowing that helps to clear your confusion.
Ignorance is only a bad thing if it is willful and defiant in the face of experience. The general situation here is that increasing hostilities throughout certain regions of the Middle East have led to a massive refugee crisis. People are migrating in droves to escape violence, persecution, and economic devastation, but so many are seeking asylum in the more stable European countries that it is unclear whether it is possible for those countries to accept or support them. As a result, you've got huge amounts of people with nowhere to go facing closed doors at every turn. With every passing day, the situation becomes more dire, and resistance to accepting the increasingly huge population of refugees grows. While there are a lot of fair concerns over the economic viability of caring for these refugees, there is also a more nationalistic perspective at play here for many people, which is sadly based on ethnocentric ideals and xenophobia. Personally, I'm of the mind that we are all human beings, and that it is every nations' responsibility to do their part in helping to mitigate this crisis by offering shelter and support to the refugees of these conflicts. These are people simply trying to survive and find some sense of normalcy and comfort. However, I'll freely admit that this is becoming an increasingly complex situation, and not one likely to be resolved quickly or cleanly. As we look forward twenty years or so, there is a question of the social and economic ramifications this could have.
Your words heavily imply that, do not deny it. Also article states that they already have 45k refugees.
Uh okay? They don't but whatever you say big guy
Israel should really take a leaf out of their history book honestly, its going to be history repeating itself to a degree
