If that was the case then so many people would not be captivated by the deliciousness of cane sugar soda, I personally would be very interested in trying it.
I've tried mexican coke and it's still way too sweet
Does the throwback Mtn Dew have this stuff in it?
Next week's headline: Mountain Dew and other sodas cause spontaneous combustion; also cause heartburn and strokes
Let us not forget the mentioned effects further being followed by radiation and a sudden change of the usual probability of being struck by lightning to 90%. [editline]15th December 2011[/editline]
I've tried mexican coke and it's still way too sweet
Personally I actually prefer the taste of diet soda over regular. In my opinion it has a much better balanced taste, and doesn't leave an annoying aftertaste in your mouth (while simultaneously increasing the friction of your teeth atleast twice.)

Well, shit. I mean, I don't drink soda very often but still.
Wow that must be agonizing, no milk, coffee, or anything else?
I'll have a non-water drink maybe once or twice a week Usually booze is some of that
I'll have a non-water drink maybe once or twice a week Usually booze is some of that
Some members of Facepunch certainly are chronic masochists (your drink choice is respectable)
Welp, never buying them again. I rarely purchase Mountain Dew, Fanta or PowerRade/GatorRade.
Welp, never buying them again. I rarely purchase Mountain Dew, Fanta or PowerRade/GatorRade.
read the article unless you consume 4 litres of those drinks regularly, you don't have anything to worry about other than dehydration and obesity
read the article unless you consume 4 litres of those drinks regularly, you don't have anything to worry about other than dehydration and obesity
And diabetes, don't forget that.
American soft drinks taste like shit anyway, fucking corn syrup make it taste like sand.
Do some people just like to nitpick everything they can to make America look bad or something?
Do some people just like to nitpick everything they can to make America look bad or something?
American soft drinks are shit. it's not really nitpicking
why do people even make the distinction between "real" sugar and hfcs? it's literally the exact same thing just "real" sugar is obtained from a different source. chemically it's the same shit
American soft drinks are shit. it's not really nitpicking
Well maybe, but it seems like every thread involving American something, it's always "American X is complete shit."
cane sugar and HFC are completely different I'm not going to bother backing that up with evidence because I'm too lazy [editline]14th December 2011[/editline]
Well maybe, but it seems like every thread involving American something, it's always "American X is complete shit."
because most everything American is done poorly
why do people even make the distinction between "real" sugar and hfcs? it's literally the exact same thing just "real" sugar is obtained from a different source. chemically it's the same shit
Not exactly but the body tries to process it in the same ways. When you have a slightly different chemical and the body tries to process it as a chemical it is used to you get some really unhealthy side effects.
ARTICLE Maybe I won't do the dew anymore.
Hah, my ex-"best friend" drinks Mountain Dew almost every day. :v:
read the article unless you consume 4 litres of those drinks regularly, you don't have anything to worry about other than dehydration and obesity
I don't really like them that much anyway, I stick to Sprite/7Up, Coca-Cola or Nestea.
thank god I'm having pepsi right now and not fanta (it tasted good then went shit for some odd reason) still, how is this even legal
"Brominated" sounds like frat boy douche-slang for 'make-over' I can just picture the SpikeTV show now.. "Bro, are you ready to see your brominated dorm room?!" "FUCK YEAH !" *chest thump* "Take off your blindfold bro!" "Bro my fucking god, bro my fucking god, it's a bro's man-dream come true bro!"
I don't drink any of those brands, I rarely drink Fanta anyway.
What the fuck? How is this even legal? Steering clear of those brands from now on.
The government is clearly busy keeping more dangerous things off the market... like marijuana.
And diabetes, don't forget that.
and tooth decay [editline]15th December 2011[/editline]
why do people even make the distinction between "real" sugar and hfcs? it's literally the exact same thing just "real" sugar is obtained from a different source. chemically it's the same shit
the blend ratios are different to sucrose, and it has been hypothesized that the digestion of sucrose is part of an important feedback response which prevents (a little bit anyhow) heath effects
I drink energy-drinks mostly.
Wow, so that's why you can't get regular Mountain Dew in the UK. I <3 eu
Damn, I drink a shitton of Pepsi... I just ... Wait, what am I doing here again?
What the fuck? How is this even legal? Steering clear of those brands from now on.
It's banned in Europe anyway incase you didn't read.
I'm glad I don't drink much soda.
