If you don't mind paying like $500 for a single 1GB module at launch, go for it.
DDR3 is cheap as chips these days, so it's gonna stay around until DDR4 is affordable

Way I read it is; More data transferred at a lower power use.

I'll probably do a overhaul when it comes out. I would like a new motherboard that supports crossfire and it will be the perfect time when this is out.
