I was thinking exactly this - I always think of Arabic as looking really neat, cool lettering:
مرحبا كنت أمتص
but it's like they used the fucking Arabic version of comic sans

Comic sands.
I just hope these guys don't bring over Ebola and Executive Orders stops being fiction
why the fuck attack chicago? nobody cares about chicago as much as St. Louis
There are some pretty important buildings in Chicago.
They won't get very far they might kill a few people but they won't achieve their goal. The United States should join up with oter nato countries so there are more fighter jets to bomb them.
to me this sounds like someone who isn't a part of ISIS trying to throw some gunpower in the campfire. Or maybe im wrong. Either way it isn't going to amount to much.
bombing is never going to work against IS just like it has never worked against any of these extremist groups. every member of IS is thoroughly convinced that the west is trying to destroy islam what do you think a spectacular display of power is going to do? convince them that the west doesn't want to destroy them?
Because being nice to these people and asking them nicely if they would please stop what they are doing would work so well on them.
I want to photobomb one of these pictures.
Suicide photobomber.
ISIS confirmed for iSheeps.
Just bomb these guys, praise Duarte.
Hey my last name is Duarte, praise me
I'm worried that people are getting carried away in their boastful comments, but what makes me downright scared is the Guantanamo bay comments. Have you forgotten what that place is? Would you really put it past your government using IS as an excuse to keep all the things you've fought against? You should be wary - do not forget what happened the last time.
The symbol isn't even a proper circle... why?
ISISball
Wow more excuses for homeland security yay gj media keep scaring all the idiot people
it's ok guys WBC will sort them out
or IS will sort WBC out
either way it's a win/win
CHIRAQ BOYS
I live in Chicago, not that worried about it but of course Perfumly isn't wrong they'll probably do some security theater.
You're telling me an American Airline company can find a Dutch girl and arrest her over a terrorism threat yet the identity of the person who tweeted that picture isn't found yet?
I'm talking about nuking some convoy of ISIS forces making their way between point A and point B when they're in the middle of nowhere. Some random patch of dirt far away from where anyone does live, or will live.
Why in the fuck would would use a WMD on a small convoy?
I'm pretty sure there's security cameras that would have picked up the guy in Chicago. Assuming the picture wasn't taken ages ago it would probably be fairly easy to go through the footage and find a guy holding up a piece of paper.
Obviously there's going to be cameras in front of the white house too, but since there's always large crowds of people taking pictures there they'd be harder to pick out.
edit: just realized they even wrote the date on the paper in the Chicago picture.
I'm not talking about nuking a city or something (or anywhere near one). I'm talking about nuking some convoy of ISIS forces making their way between point A and point B when they're in the middle of nowhere. Some random patch of dirt far away from where anyone does live, or will live. You know, the kind of place they'd be when you'd hit them with a drone strike or cut them up with a Warthog.
Also, first generation nuclear weapons like Fat Man and Little Boy weren't the most efficient in the world. We know how to design better bombs now to use up the maximum possible amount of input fissionable material. Neutron bombs are also a thing now, and they don't really cause any long lasting local fallout when used properly (neutron radiation is incredibly lethal, but free neutrons are absorbed incredibly rapidly thankfully so it's quite a concentrated effect).
It doesn't work that way holy shit stop advocating nuking them, we aren't ever going to do that.
You're telling me an American Airline company can find a Dutch girl and arrest her over a terrorism threat yet the identity of the person who tweeted that picture isn't found yet?
I am pretty sure this guy doesn't exist anymore
Bombing has actually been very effective against extremist groups.
So, you think bombings against targets in ME will deter attacks in US?...
I'm worried that people are getting carried away in their boastful comments, but what makes me downright scared is the Guantanamo bay comments. A place to keep POW's who can't be repatriated because the conflict can't end. Trials can't be given because jurisdiction, rules for evidence gathering, and laws do not exist. Release isn't possible because they likely really are enemy fighters. Guantanamo is an unavoidable purgatory that hasn't been shut down because there is no alternative.
Guantanamo isn't for people on US soil. On US soil we have jurisdiction and all the tools necessary to conduct an actual trial.
i'm not too worried here in south florida
ISIS fighters would probably die in a car accident on the way to a bomb target, if they can stand the humidity.
not like we have anything to blow up here anyway except restaurants and parks.
oh no, not the gastropub
If ISIS really wanted to scare US people and stir them into a fury they shouldn't do a bombing, they should just get a team of people with a death wish and equip them with automatic weapons in a mall or public venue.
I personally am not worried because in my town I face a much more dangerous threat this weekend, drunk diesel truck drivers at the midwest's biggest diesel festival, now those are some unpredictable bastards.

It's a name for a category of place that specializes in beers and fine food. Lots of craft small batch beers and interesting food.
Also that note was written in June according to the date on the paper. "20/June/2014"

Bombs have a much bigger psychological effect, are cheaper and are way WAY harder to stop than men armed with automatics.
You don't stop attacks with bombings people, you stop them with a well paid and funded network of intelligence officials and data recollection sources.
Which the US* and Europe** have, so you can rest at home calm and be sure no bombs will go off in a populated centre
*=Of course sometimes a crazy fuck will go undetected but the amount of harm he does will be minimal as the knowledge and material required to really wreck stuff can't go unnoticed.
**=You don't shit where you eat. It is known or speculated that many European govs have some kind of dealings and offer protection to some groups in exchange for more info and names. Namely the Nordic ones and France.
My brother goes to school in Chicago. ISIS probably won't do anything but it's still a bit worrying.

I go to school in Chicago as well do not worry I will protect your brother at all costs
Bombs have a much bigger psychological effect, are cheaper and are way WAY harder to stop than men armed with automatics.
Armed terrorists striking multiple locations with automatic weapons and massacring American civilians? No, that would be waaay worse than some bombs going off. That's been our nation's biggest fear since 9/11, and it's been a hyperbolic talking point of both sides of the gun-control debate since the 90's.
Plus the two are not mutually exclusive, they could do both.
