Good luck getting Swiss citizenship.
And settle down, this is nothing like 1984. Not even close. Take a breath.
You sound like the teabaggers.
It's not close to 1984, that was a bit of an extreme reference. I just happen to live in a southern state, the more vocal part of my Government class says so many stupid things. That combined with this(and other things), I just don't want to live in this country anymore.
You still have to get a warrant with the patriot act to wire tap etc.

Uhh have you even participated in voting yet?
Uhh have you even participated in voting yet?
As if voting matters in America, your silly 2 party system makes an individual vote completely useless.
"Looking at the roll call, 27 Republicans broke party ranks and opposed the measure, and 65 Democrats did the opposite."
Going by percentages, it appears to be an equal amount of traitors to their own party.
Can't tell me shit like this isn't staged. Fuck what ever party it is, they're both just as guilty for letting this pass. It just proves to the American public how much the government is playing you and putting on a show to make you think you have any sort of power with your votes.
America is tearing itself apart from the inside out, mainly because there's just a bunch of fucking morons running the country who's only goal is to do the opposite of the other party, and slander the other party.
They should get rid of titles altogether. Everyone's an independent and belongs to no group other than whatever state they're from. The majority of problems and lack of getting shit done seems to stem from just the two parties bumping fists for the purpose of just bumping fists
(Not the same type of fist bumping Obama does)
Liberty is dead

There's no 2 party system in this country. There's 1 party, the federal government.

What classifies the Democrats and Republicans then?

Are you dumb? Have you ever heard of partisan and nonpartisan voting? The overwhelming majority of partisan votes go to what ever party they can relate to. As in the overwhelming majority of the population is too dumb to think for themselves. And nonpartisan voting consists mainly of idiots voting on things such as:
Who is first on the list
Last name (white people vote for white names, Mexicans vote for Mexican names etc.)
Random
Instead of actual political views.
Republicans are doing whatever they can to bring the government to a halt so they can claim Obama isn't doing anything, even if it ends up being detrimental to the country. This has been made very clear over and over.
House GOP are anti-American, to throw their terms around.
Just like Reagan and the Iran Hostage Crisis.

and this attitude from young people is why shit like prop 8 got passed
Oh Glaaaaaaaaaberr, FP is caaaaaalllliiiinnng....
Seriously, Glaber, get your ass in here. We want to hear your whack-ass excuse for this.
To be honest this makes me think that the US is heading somewhat in the direction of other presidential system countries.
As far as I know previously the representatives weren't as party true as in most other countries and there were odd votes all over the spectrum, avoiding the legal deadlock that happens in most other pres system countries.
If this is a longterm trend, it could lead to problems.
This is the worst thing I've read about in a very long time. I am absolutely disgusted by my government at this point.
This really does make me sad. I don't follow politics much but even I know this is a bad idea.
Fuck political parties.
Since Government class this semester, I've been wanting more and more to get out of this country, and it's been becoming an exponentially more urgent want as time passes.
Either Canada or maybe Switzerland. I just want out o' this country before it turns into Oceania from 1984.
Same here bro.
Holy fuck that title is misleading. My heart almost stopped when I first read it.
Let's just give them their own damned country.

First, conservatives don't want things run differently, they want things to always be run the same
That's why they're called conservatives
Second, there are also multiple strawmen in your post, and you missed the reason for choosing "anti-american", which I explained on the same line
Third, you are a terrible poster

Please give me specific examples of liberal positions/initiatives that resemble Stalinism.
don't bother, most dutch people learn english in school and they don't like it anyway when you butcher the language
i speak dutch but i don't utter a single word of it to dutch people for a reason
I prefer if people speak it, or try it at least, if that fails im OK with english.

He won't make one. The most important questions are the ones he simply ignores.

As much as I dislike Glaber, I'll say this. He's tried to make it clear that he doesn't just agree with all Republican policies no matter what they are, so saying this in every thread about a new law Republicans proposed is just silly.
