All we're getting is at least two inches of rain according to most sources I have heard from and I live in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
This is the Regional Radar from KFVS12: http://www.kfvs12.com/global/Story.asp?s=1226453 , our Local Weather and news Station.
California getting a comfy 65 today :buddy:
I might as well be, I'm not walking 2 miles to get some chains. Not in this weather.
I might as well add that chains are something you should have in the first place. In order to avoid this.

Not in Texas. It never gets this cold, this is a record low afaik.
I bet we won't get school off in Michigan, I've seen those buses break trail through 6 inches of fresh snow....
It's snowing heavily in Texas where I live aauhguh it was 70 degrees yesterday
Haha, it was about 70 degrees for me too yesterday.
Texas here. We got snow and it's pretty chilly outside. School's not canceled but they didn't close the office so I get to work instead of sleeping in. Fffuuu...
Oh, you think there aren't icy roads here? I don't live in Hawaii. Just get a pair of snow tires and/or chains.
You're right. It's totally worth getting chains for the two times it snows a year. :downs:
Who cares if we "aren't as good at dealing with snow than" you? I guarantee you couldn't stand our heat. It's just a matter of preference.
We got our High school canceled tomorrow because it was going to be a low of 14 Fahrenheit and possibly icy in Northern Texas, wow.
I guess I find it weird, having lived in Michigan and Wisconsin for half my life.
14 Degrees? WoW Texas is a state of pussies.... (Not you mr. from Mich./Wisc.)
And please- New Jersey best get the rain part of this... we already have 3 ft from the first storm another 1 1/2 ft from the last one and the snow is still bloody piling up.

Dumb Yankee doesn't understand. We don't cancel school in Texas because of the cold, but because of the ice. And I know you'll say "herp derp u can drive in ice", well because our state gets so little snow a year, most cities don't invest in snow trucks and plows to help deal with the cold. Also most people don't know how to drive with ice and so it's just easier to close the schools. It's maybe like 1 or 2 days a year.

You're calling him a dumb yankee but you imply you're from texas?

Not a difficult concept to grasp.

Yeah, dude, what you could do with the 15 bucks!
I guarantee I can stand your heat. In the summer here, the average temperature in the day is 95 F, going up to 105 F.
I'm in Arlington Texas and school is canceled thanks to it
Looks like Georgia is sitting this one out. Oh well.
Thank God, I like cold and snow and all but I've had my fair share of shoveling the stuff out of my driveway.
Snowpocalypse, Snowmageddon, blablabla whatever you want to call it.
Deep-to-the-bone biting cold-o'-caust?
Jesus Christ, Americans are giant vaginas about snow. When it was -15 here, all the kids still went to school. A foot of snow? School. Grow some balls and deal with the snow. It won't kill you.
That is so because a large majority of people there are inexperienced drivers in terms of driving over snow.
There is also far less counter measures against snow.
The point is it doesn't matter that your a great driver out there all it takes is one idiot to ram you and destroy your life/car.
No it isn't. Your highest average high is 25.9C (78.6F).
Yes the average for the country.
Vancouver called.
It's -3c and sunny with no clouds in the sky but everything is green as fuck.
We would like to borrow some of your weather.
Yes the average for the country.
No, the Average high for Sofia, Bulgaria(Source). Try again next time before you make claims you can't back up.
I want a snowpocalypse where I live.
We never have any interesting weather here.
No wonder it's been so cold lately.

I'm torn.
Part of me wants to get hit by this thing, because hell, what am I doing that's so important?
Actually, fuck it. I want to get hit.
Right outside Boston, we've gotten a ton so far and are getting more as we speak. Connecticut, where I'm from, has been getting POUNDED, they've been having at least one 12+ inch snow storm a week.

Wasn't that bad actually. There WAS a tornado 7 miles north my house though.
