Or so the BBC says.
Jeremy Clarkson was the second shooter on the grassy knoll
How much money did they waste investigating this?
Jeremy Clarkson was the second shooter on the grassy knoll
Well why do you think he likes vehicles so much? You know what else is a vehicle? UFO!
Yes there's been an overreaction to all of this but honestly I really doubt that the number plate was merely coincidental. It's the exact kind of humour that Top Gear does. Of course the BBC will deny that it was deliberate no matter what due to being a part of the UK government and minimising any harm to international relations that the UK may face as a result. I reckon it was great they chose that number plate and yes the Argentinians were too sensitive.
It's not even a coincidence. People are saying it is.... because. H982 FKL. It was a Porsche 928, The tag resembles that more than anything else. Then the other two plates they said references the casualties on both sides, except neither plate was the correct number So what they're saying is, here's a RANGE of license plate numbers that fall too close to a specific number that we will form an angry mob over. Stupid
Can't you just accept that shit happens and it wasn't actually done on purpose.
Well it's the exact kind of humour that I love about Top Gear. [editline]29th May 2015[/editline]
The BBC isn't part of the UK government
Majority owned by the UK government, so yes it is.
Well it's the exact kind of humour that I love about Top Gear. [editline]29th May 2015[/editline] Majority owned by the UK government, so yes it is.
Not everything is a fucking conspiracy.
Not everything is a fucking conspiracy.
What's the conspiracy?
Out of at least 456,976,000 different number plate combinations, I really doubt that they'd coincidentally come across one that makes a reference to a war over the Falklands in 1982 between the UK and Argentina, while the number plate is on the car of a Brit driving through Argentina. Like, come on. Not justifying the Argentinian response to it, but there's no way that's a coincidence.
Even if there's only a one in a million chance it's still got at least a one in a million chance.
Not everything is a fucking conspiracy.
I had a nasty case of diarrhea last week. It couldn't have been anything other than a side effect of NSA mind-control drugs.
What's the conspiracy?
The moon landing was filmed in top gear's studio
What's the conspiracy?
The shit you're fucking spouting about the UK government apparently forging old license plates so the BBC could deny knowledge of this issue.
Majority owned by the UK government, so yes it is.
Actually, it's owned by the public.
The moon landing was filmed in top gear's studio
They also have the missing 18 minutes from the Watergate tapes.
It's incredible how butthurt the argies are over the falklands
It's incredible how butthurt the argies are over the falklands
i dont think its as much as people seem to think
Actually, it's owned by the public.
The public in the context of statutory corporations is the government.
The public in the context of statutory corporations is the government.
No. The government a separate entity that serves the public.
Or so the BBC says.
And it is written in english, too, just like the language BBC is broadcasting in. And this message came from the british isles, which are a part of the United Kingdom. Further investigation shows that BBC is located on these british isles, and therefore the United Kingdom. And guess who was participating in the Falkland conflict?
The Falklands War (Spanish: Guerra de las Malvinas), also known as the Falklands Conflict, Falklands Crisis, and the Guerra del Atlántico Sur (Spanish for "South Atlantic War"), was a ten-week war between Argentina and the United Kingdom over two British overseas territories in the South Atlantic: the Falkland Islands and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falklands_War That is too many coincidences. Isn't Porsche a german car builder? Last time I checked Argentina isn't across the border of Germany, trust me, I live there. How could this car end up in Argentina? Argentinians can't even afford one. It is totally clear the Big Black Cock of the UK fabricated everything. Also, JFK was murdered by Richard "The Hamster" Hammond as revenge for the war of independence of the USA
I honestly couldn't give two shits about this whole issue. (User was banned for this post ("Why reply" - Craptasket))
I honestly couldn't give two shits about this whole issue.
So you specifically clicked on a thread to do with the issue just to comment how much you don't care? Great.
I honestly couldn't give two shits about this whole issue.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to go in here and write this, really shows that you don't care.
Majority owned by the UK government, so yes it is.
The UK government does not have a stake in the BBC, they are very careful about this.
I honestly couldn't give two shits about this whole issue. (User was banned for this post ("Why reply" - Craptasket))
Is it not possible that he was commenting that, as an Argentinian, he does not care about something so trivial as a Brit with a suggestive license plate? This seems likely and one might think he'd be afforded the benefit of the doubt, but apparently not.
And? I'm sure many Argentinians don't actually care, just like there are many that are enraged by the number plate. It still adds nothing to the discussion.
The moon landing was filmed in top gear's studio
Well certainly Apollo 16 was a film about an upcoming car from some upstart american manufacturer
Is it not possible that he was commenting that, as an Argentinian, he does not care about something so trivial as a Brit with a suggestive license plate? This seems likely and one might think he'd be afforded the benefit of the doubt, but apparently not.
Yes, that was actually my point, really.
