This is some really interesting stuff.
honestly they have every right to laugh, after all, they got away with everything, and no one did a damn thing lol, occupy wallstreet was a joke. personally i don't think the US is actually capable of having a coherent social movement in the event shit REALLY hits the fan anymore, at least not one capable of standing up to the overt response it would definitely get from the government, maybe in a few decades it might again.
good god cross dressing, thats just going too far
"It's one thing to devastate the lives of millions of people around the world, but when you put on a skirt it's fucking go time boyo!"
Yup, just like all those disgusting women who cross dress every day.
Yup, just like all those disgusting women who cross dress every day.
Go buy a kilt or something if it's because you wanna feel the breeze on your junk.
Those jokes flew over my head, did they actually make fun of Clinton's genitalia?
I always suspected the world's top economical brass was crazy, but this is far crazier than anything I expected
To be honest, the way I read it, this was essentially a frat party. And let's be completely honest here. If you look at most frat parties |boys only clubs| whatever else across countless layers of society from the poor to the rich, you get very similar results. Sure the food and drinks are different, the cothing varies as the venue. Many of the jokes really don't. Plus why is such a frat party brought out now and not two years ago.
this is your illuminati, america
David Icke was right all along!
Go buy a kilt or something if it's because you wanna feel the breeze on your junk.
Yup, just because I pointed out that women wearing pants used to be considered just as deviant means I want to wear a skirt....
well i mean, have a look at them. they've got everything they could ever want, but they're alone, incapable of relating to or understanding the plight of anyone not on their level, scared of what the public would think of them, entirely convinced of their persecution, and trapped in their own little lonely world unable to comprehend that there's anyone in it but themselves. they've got all this pull and power all over the world, but every last one of them is still alone, asocial, and extremely pitiful. that's why i think they're sad. it's like they're trapped in a self-convincing psychosis brought on by their money. it's depressing.
The ultra rich may not be able to relate with the troubles of the less wealthy, but I don't believe for one moment they're all alone and asocial.
Yup, just because I pointed out that women wearing pants used to be considered just as deviant means I want to wear a skirt....
Pants caught on due to their combined comfort and utility. Stop baiting like only a rabid SJW would.
Pants caught on due to their combined comfort and utility. Stop baiting like only a rabid SJW would.
Tell that to the Romans.
The ultra rich may not be able to relate with the troubles of the less wealthy, but I don't believe for one moment they're all alone and asocial.
well that's the thing. they're obviously very disconnected from reality, to the point that the idea of a sudden dose of it sends them into hyperventilation and temper tantrums. at best they blatantly despise and mock their lower class acquaintances behind their backs, if they even have any to begin with, so they can't really be friends with any of them. and they all entirely agree with each other about how persecuted they all are, bootstraps etc. etc., so that nothing is ever challenged or changed and no dispute can happen. that's why i think their money is like a psychosis. they're entirely isolated except for each other, and they're all so alike in terms of ideology that they're practically all the same very narcissistic, self-congratulating person. so that's why i say that they're asocial - they go to dinners and party and stuff, but when you eat with twenty different bankers from twenty different firms that behave exactly the same in every way you're more or less eating alone.
This sounds like a Monty Python sketch, doesn't it? [editline]19th February 2014[/editline] Like I can just imagine Graham Chapman in his old woman costume and voice talking about the poor.
Don't go down that road. Its not gay to crossdress.
It's not but people who tend to be homophobic and/or sexist also tend to look down on crossdressers as well.
Tell that to the Romans.
I'm sure the people considered modern day Romans wear pants too. But nice try...
It's not but people who tend to be homophobic and/or sexist also tend to look down on crossdressers as well.
Again, look at most frat parties. Because this is essentially what this is. They even use frat group names.
what happened to secret societies just getting togather to get shitfaced drunk... also with everything that happened LAST year with secret conversations being taped they didn't beef up security any? GJ rich fucks but seriously these guys were all starting out in the 80s so what do you expect
The event in the article took place several years ago. The "reporter" is only talking about it now because they are publishing a book.
The event in the article took place several years ago. The "reporter" is only talking about it now because they are publishing a book.
Only two years ago.
Again, look at most frat parties. Because this is essentially what this is. They even use frat group names.
My description still is mostly accurate there. Frats put their fresh blood through hazing rituals which are often based around humiliating the fuck out of them. If they see forcing crossdressing as a valid hazing tactic that would be because they think crossdressing is weird or unsavory.
Oh, how I hope this all goes viral.
Pants caught on due to their combined comfort and utility. Stop baiting like only a rabid SJW would.
So, because women's clothes are not comfortable (false) and have no utility (not sure), there is no reason that men should ever be able to wear them?
woah there let's not say things we can't take back
I can always snip. But I won't because I'm not a PUSSY.
Yeah crossdressing isn't wrong and isn't the issue it's fucking terrifying that the people who run this country are laughing about all of the lives they've ruined and how they're far too powerful and influential to be stopped.

If they see forcing crossdressing as a valid hazing tactic that would be because they think crossdressing is weird or unsavory.
That's kinda because to most people it is when you think about it. We've got some established social norms to which most eshew. Now if those norms are right or wrong is another matter of course.
i kept forgetting about how these people ruined the economy when i read through the thread so every post came off to me as being really angry about these people having weird parties before i remembered I'd like to see what would happen if a bunch of people just came in uninvited to one of these parties. Like, a crowd of people just pour in and joined them. Dunno why, just seems like it'd be really amusing
So it's bad to goof around if you are rich?
It's bad to show how disconnected you are from a disaster you had a part in, yes.
