Were you born a jackass? Because if you weren't scum when you were a baby you sure as fuck turned in to it later on in your pathetic existence.
Let me guess, you are projecting onto me the image you have of the homophobic, bigoted bully and therefore start taking it personal, am I correct?
Suddenly trolls, trolls everywhere.
Who's the troll, the ones using the correct words, or those getting all uppity and personal because we don't bend facts to everyone's wishes?
I heard it is extremely uncomfortable, depressing, and all around a miserable feeling for the person. Why should they stay that way?
because acds says so
Calm down, his opinion may not be right but it doesn't exactly make him scum.
It makes him scum, It makes him trash, it makes him a subhuman piece of shit that needs to be purged. I have had it with people like him, forcing others in to depression, suicide, suffering all because of their own goddamn ignorance.
Who's the troll, the ones using the correct words, or those getting all uppity and personal because we don't bend facts to everyone's wishes?
those getting all uppity and personal because we don't bend facts to everyone wishes happens to be you.
Also stop getting fucking uppity about "he", it's the correct word, he isn't reading this, he won't ever see this, and he probably wouldn't give 1/10th of the fucks you guys are giving, you are the only ones getting all upset. [editline]31st January 2012[/editline]
It makes him scum, It makes him trash, it makes him a subhuman piece of shit that needs to be purged. I have had it with people like him, forcing others in to depression, suicide, suffering all because of their own goddamn ignorance.
I love you too. Also how am I forcing someone to depression and suicide because I used "he" instead of "she" on an internet forum?
It makes him scum, It makes him trash, it makes him a subhuman piece of shit that needs to be purged. I have had it with people like him, forcing others in to depression, suicide, suffering all because of their own goddamn ignorance.
So because he has a misunderstanding on a certain mental issue he needs to be purged? I'm sorry who is the scum here again?
Also stop getting fucking uppity about "he", it's the correct word, he isn't reading this, he won't ever see this, and he probably wouldn't give 1/10th of the fucks you guys are giving, you are the only ones getting all upset.
You seem pretty upset yourself. You also seem to have completely deviated from any argument, so uh, you should probably just leave now.
acds where are the answers to my fucking questions
Also stop getting fucking uppity about "he", it's the correct word, he isn't reading this, he won't ever see this, and he probably wouldn't give 1/10th of the fucks you guys are giving, you are the only ones getting all upset.
you know it's extremely rude to continually refer to someone who has made it explicit that they want to be a "she" as "he" right
you know it's extremely rude to continually refer to someone who has made it explicit that they want to be a "she" as "he" right
It's hard to be rude to someone who isn't actually here.
acds where are the answers to my fucking questions
Nowhere because if I do answer them it will just keep going and the thread has already gone to shit enough.
Nowhere because if I do answer them it will just keep going and the thread has already gone to shit enough.
you're only saying it's gone to shit because you lost your shitty argument lmao
"Gender is a range of characteristics used to distinguish between males and females, particularly in the cases of men and women and the masculine and feminine attributes assigned to them. Depending on the context, the discriminating characteristics vary from sex to social role to gender identity." First couple of sentences, it's not only the identity like you portray it, it includes sex. And they also point out that "Gender is a range of characteristics used to distinguish between males and females"; which basically means some things (such as a penis or a vagina) are used to distinguish different genders. this makes it impossible for someone to become a part of the opposite gender by feeling like one of them. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Even if that was correct, by that logic it is possible to become the opposite sex by having the other sexes sex organs, isn't it?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
"masculine and feminine attributes assigned to them" "Depending on the context, the discriminating characteristics vary from sex to social role to gender identity" in this context gender is only social factors, as we are using gender in direct contrast with sex in psychological terms more generally gender is a massive amalgamation of factors contributing to a sort of 'gender scale' I guess, with male on the one side and female on the other, whereas sex is pretty clear cut
Nowhere because if I do answer them it will just keep going and the thread has already gone to shit enough.
All I'm reading here is "I can't defend myself so I'm just going to say I'm right and run away!"
more generally gender is a massive amalgamation of factors contributing to a sort of 'gender scale' I guess, with male on the one side and female on the other, whereas sex is pretty clear cut
not quite true about the last part, there's also people with various genetic disorders that can fit somewhere in the middle
It's hard to be rude to someone who isn't actually here.
so I can call people niggers and pakis over the internet so long as they're not personally reading it?
so I can call people niggers and pakis over the internet so long as they're not personally reading it?
Calling someone a derogatory term and calling someone by their sex rather than their gender are two very different things.
not quite true about the last part, there's also people with various genetic disorders that can fit somewhere in the middle
it's still something you can observe and see though, even if you have to go down to DNA to do it in some cases
Calling someone a derogatory term and calling someone by their sex rather than their gender are two very different things.
not in the strict sense, no. but calling them that after a) they've made it explicit that that's how they want to be referred to b) being called out on it multiple times is derogatory.
Calling someone a derogatory term and calling someone by their sex rather than their gender are two very different things.
Except calling them that is a derogatory term. Transexuals and transgendered people are just as much a group as black people are.
I'm just glad that we can finally ignore homophobic trolls, now that stupidity and homophobia have been linked together.
Except calling them that is a derogatory term. Transexuals and transgendered people are just as much a group as black people are.
No it isn't, I'm sorry but it just isn't.
Poor girl, can anyone say "abusive father" in Deutsch?
gewalttätigen Vater
I'm sorry
I doubt it.
and implied that I didn't comprehend pronouns
But that goes specifically against what I said. And as we all know, sarcasm isn't quite "the opposite of what is said"
English language aside, the father is an asshole. He's still your child you might not like it but don't act like an ass.
No it isn't, I'm sorry but it just isn't.
So by that logic, only race is important here? So it's ok to make fun of religion and sexuality all you want, but if someone's race gets involved, only then it becomes an issue? I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for you being so stupid or just laugh at you.
No it isn't, I'm sorry but it just isn't.
In many ways it's worse. Racist words are in wide circulation, and thanks to street culture many have been turned on their heads (note usage of the word nigger among black communities, especially in music), whereas calling a transgender person the wrong gender when it's explicitly clear they don't want to be referred to as that gender has a more personal attack to it, being directed at one person not a group of people.
