This just really broke my heart. I can't imagine watching your fiancee out on broadcast, so happy that you can help her in the control room... just to watch her get shot like that. I'm actually tearing up some.... This is horrible.
this is so fucked up this whole story makes me feel bad
All i care is because of stupid gun laws, mr robot is rescheduled for tonights season finale. Thanks killer.
Sorry I don't want to go through 14 pages to check if late, The shooter uploaded the video of the shooting online himself. This webm syncs up the shooting on the new's with the shooter's.

What the hell? How did that get posted? There's no way the cops would do that. Did someone just find the phone and leak the video?
The reporter that died was the best friend of a very close family friend.

Sorry for your friends loss, :(.

Seeing how he's dead I can't see that happening :v:

He was alive when that was posted

he didn't do a very good job
he died at the hospital
It was good riddance when he shot himself but knowing he now likely had to go through severe, excruciating pain before dying...
... actually no, yeah, still good riddance.

It's all over the news dude, he posted it on his own.

Depends on where he shot himself. Didn't see anything about that. I'm glad the shooter suffered.

He likely shot his head at the wrong angle, which would destroy the face without causing severe enough damage to the brain to kill you quickly.

Or shot himself in the stomach or chest or something.

I am at a loss of words. I'm not the type of person to cry, but this just tears it.
they should append stipulations to private sales, it might help aswell as additional checks. Thing is though i have ptsd and i don't want to be denied a gun to keep me safe. Not that many of you are even going to take a step in my shoes to see why i feel this way. I want to have a gun because of the amount of walking around i do during the day and especially at night. Private sale's though are an issue you would think they'd require certain things to do it.

People are people until they say stuff like "Jehovah told me to kill them." You're allowed to state fact after that. That's a clear case of schizophrenia.

Yup. I've seen tons of this shit. But this was like way past that.
man that video just seems so surreal

I honestly thought it was fake at first. And for a while after. Then when his Twitter page went offline I knew it was real. Then I felt sick.
My morbid curiosity isn't getting the better of me this time, not going to watch the video as the thought of it has me on the edge of being sick
did they legitimately just not notice him, or were they just ignoring him just to keep it professional or something
like he pointed the gun at her for a few seconds without doing anything

I don't think they noticed. If anything they noticed someone walking around. People always huddle around live news tapings.

There isn't gore but the emotional factor is there. I wouldn't watch it.

It's worth a shot, but it's not easily monitored by outside people since there's ususlly two parties involved. They can only be charged if people discovered any evidence of that sale.
Forgive me I'm just a Brit who knows nothing about guns or how they work etc, but I watched that (pretty fucking horrible holy fuck) video and the woman gets shot what looks like first. However she still manages to start trying to run away pretty quickly.
In these kind of cases, is it the shooting that kills, or bleeding out, or the shock perhaps. I can't imagine having my life or of one those I love being taken away so quickly with something so out of your hands, and it would make it even worse to imagine that they had suffered through extensive pain in those last moments. I can't even begin to imagine how their families feel right now, especially with how readily available these videos are.
Man this whole thing is fucking devastating

Depends of the caliber of the round, strike point, trajectory of the bullet.
If this was your run of the mill 9mm glock and she got shot in the body, it would be internal/external bleeding, which would allow the victim to survive for some time.
The subsequent shots probably killed her right away.

It's a combination of the three... often you aren't aware that you've been shot until some time later, it can range from seconds to minutes to days to never. Bullets are a funny thing. In this case I believe she was only actually hit once, but it was in a bad location and help didn't arrive fast enough.
I hate talking about stuff like this so analytically, but that's the way it is.

The shock from the first round or two (which was shown) allowed her to run away. Video went black, more shots were heard. So, you do the math.

Unless the bullet did some kind of critical damage to the heart or brain they would likely die from blood loss after a while, and the adrenaline response to being shot is what numbs the pain and allowed the woman to run away without being severely burdened by her condition.
Here's this piece of shit's past news segments (no NSFW warning)
