Trump hasn't waited to get into the oval office before being a piece of shit
And just because he waited or not that somehow makes it better? [editline]20th November 2016[/editline]
Who brought up Bill? I dont think kids are really caring all that much about the first lady/dude, much less looking up to them as role models. As a 10 year old I didnt know who Dick Cheney was lol
And neither they will care about trump after 4 years, it's a 10 year old. Unless trump manages to get a second term, I doubt they'll care afterwards, just with Bill Clinton.
And just because he waited or not that somehow makes it better?
People didn't know Clinton was a piece of shit before he became president. Trump hasn't even attempted to not be a piece of shit. Either way two wrongs don't make a right, and Bill didn't even run to be president
I don't really understand why people are surprised that someone in a minimum wage job that requires no skills and no experience was let go for pissing off a customer.
I think even a stern talking to is too much. A laugh behind closed doors with the boss is more in tune. Honestly... I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

We elected Trump despite knowing the horrid shit.
Since that fateful day when trump win,lot of people has a hair trigger temper now.
Since that fateful day when trump win,lot of people has a hair trigger temper now.
Well it's more just him likely violating store policy that has prolly been there for a long time. If it's his first offense that's probably a bit harsh but we dunno, maybe he fucked up before And besides, we all know that santa is above politics. It's socioeconomic class he discriminates for, not your beliefs :v:
That's funny, if fake-Santa had said Trump, this thread would be totally different.
But you do realize what happened when we found out about Bill... right? We impeached him.
yeah we impeached him and then it was fine and he finished his term and nobody cared and everybody laughed at the snl and mad tv jokes about it
edit: wait nevermind I was totally wrong about history here and snipped this part. But yeah, it's hard to measure the effect because he was generally considered a good president with climbing approval ratings. I think "nobody cared" may be too far, but it wasn't damning. I suppose this isn't terribly unique to anyone to excuse the shitty parts of their presidents to focus on the good stuff, democrats will sweep it aside, republicans love talking about him.
Yeah sex jokes are jokes too that doesn't mean Saint Nick ought to be cracking funnies about his dick size to 5 y/os.
how in god's name is that comparable to joking about clinton being on the naughty list?
That's funny, if fake-Santa had said Trump, this thread would be totally different.
I think he'd deserve a stern talking to either way. Being fired is ridiculously harsh unless there's something more to this guy we're not being told about.
That's an abysmally stupid reason to get fired for anything. It was a joke, damn.
Waiting for Ethan Klein's new video reacting to santa just like Hugh Mungus
Even Santa hates Hillary.
I thought it was fairly obvious that Hillary was on the naughty list though?
I thought it was fairly obvious that Hillary was on the naughty list though?
fire this mod
Stupid gamble to take so soon after the election but doesn't deserve to be fired. Call Santa up, tell him not to talk about politics, shit ain't hard
why was a little girl asking Santa about politics, and why does the mom have such a strong certainty on the issue?
why was a little girl asking Santa about politics, and why does the mom have such a strong certainty on the issue?
Kids are pretty observant, considering the two candidates have been on tv 24/7 for the past 6 months I'm not surprised that little girl wanted to know who the woman was a Little girl liking a woman that may have become the president isn't exactly shocking, for all we know she could have been a hero or a role model to her, and the santa flat out told her she should be on the naughty list, dude should just do his job.
why was a little girl asking Santa about politics, and why does the mom have such a strong certainty on the issue?
She didn't ask him about politics. Why don't you try reading the article first? I don't think you guys realize how dime a dozen this kind of position is to fill. Why would the company put up with complaints about this guy when they can just replace him with someone else in their list?
Isn't ten a bit too old for this Santa business? [editline]20th November 2016[/editline] I can sympathise with the dude though. He's doing a shitty job for a shitty wage and just wanted to spice it up ever so slightly.
Not something worth firing him over, but they should've probably had a quiet word.
Well, in 20 years when the daughter has children of their own, I bet you can guess what their political belief would be too. Religion and politics should not be hereditary, but they sadly are.
what Most people start to diverge from their parent's political views in their late-teens/early adult years. Y'know, once they start getting an idea of what the real world is like and can formulate their own opinion. Just not when they're 10 and mommy and daddy are yelling at the TV. [sp]Unrelated I really hate that it's impossible to unrate in SH considering how easy it is to accidentally do it on mobile.[/sp]
I think there needed to be a punishment for bringing Politics into the matter, but I think that firing him just isn't the way to go about this. I mean a stern warning seems like a more justified punishment, than just sacking the guy.
I think that's a little excessive.
Politics and religion are the two main topics you should keep out of the workplace. Especially if you work with children.
What kind of fucking bizarre comparison is that :v:. Are you seriously comparing sex jokes told to little kids to "hillary is in my naughty list"?
Yeah, because you said "It's a joke" as if it being a joke means it's totally fine for mall santas to be saying it to kids, so I gave an example of a joke that would unequivocally not be appropriate for a mall santa to make to a kid, to show that "it's a joke" is not enough to justify it. Then I made an argument for why this is another situation where saying a joke to a kid would not be appropriate, though obviously it's inappropriate for different reasons. I swear some people on Facepunch don't know what an analogy is, if it were an identical situation in all aspects it wouldn't be a comparison, it would be restating the same situation.
The real question here is why do they have a mall Santa on November 18th
You can't tell who in this thread never had to actually work to survive if you think a barely political joke is worth him getting fired and now struggling to pay rent or feed himself. Seriously people? This over zealous political correctness is why Trump has such a crazy amount of supporters. Getting fired of a little joke what a damn shame.
Ironically him struggling to pay rent or feed himself isn't going to be helped by the Trump presidency.
That has nothing to do with anything lol. Why do you guys always try to turn every single negative situation as if it's Trump fault. This article has NOTHING to do with Trump. Sure he beat Hillary but he isnt any important or semi important or little tiny bit important aspect to this story.
Deserved, keep politics out of santa business.
Exactly when you're on any job keep your personal opinions and politics to yourself otherwise you could lose your job it's common sense. [editline]20th November 2016[/editline]
Pretty sure non-disclosure forms for such jobs usually includes keeping politics out of the job.
It's the same rule as keeping religion out of the work place.
