That you denied multiple times claiming it to be biased and hateboners for Russia. Nice cold constructive discussions.
Actually hate-boner is my preferred euphemism.
You seem to confuse us, I'm the british socialist with the pig avatar, hes the Russian guy with some rose thing. If in doubt, read the user name.
I give you the very unexisting award of my most Favourite Worst Poster 2014. I don't think you care, but still. Let's end the discussion, we won't get anywhere with it (well, maybe to refugee camp).
And now you know you can't bring anything to the table, so you run away from it to later continue the same thing. Glorious display.

I'm sorry if this sounds a bit off topic, but does your socialist side influence why you favor russia?

Don't know why socialists would like Russia all that much, it doesn't seem much like a socialist utopia.
Don't know why socialists would like Russia all that much, it doesn't seem much like a socialist utopia.
You'd be surprised. Some breeds of radical socialists don't seem to have gotten the memo that the Soviet Union collapsed. Those that did tend to fetishise the remaining self-proclaimed socialist/communist countries.
The ones with their heads screwed on straight tend to be less noticeable, really. In the vast menagerie of madness that is the Internet, you really have to go the extra mile in lunacy to stand out.

Russia isn't socialist. And I favour the EU over all other "groups". I think Ukraine should try and join the EU, I don't think they will be able to though, too many people will vote against it for economic reasons (I think this is bullshit people are too concerned about growth and wealth than humans) Imo all EU countries capable of helping should help repair Ukraine. This won't happen though. So instead they should do the best next thing, repair ties with Russia. Try to get close to the EU and Russia without slipping under the thumb of either. Ukraine was going to get a big ass loan from Russia and they were getting cheap fuel which they didn't pay for. It wasn't great and yanuk was corrupt as shit but what have they got now? A corrupt leader, massive debt and no gas.
I am opposed to the US though. Corrupt and imperialistic. Businessmen as politicians is a bad idea (Dick Cheney, ex ceo of haliburton, just so happened to give haliburton a several billion dollar contract without any competition. ) I have nothing against the US people but their politics is abhorrent and I don't know why they support/tolerate it.
Ukraine is in a really bad position and they need help. If they don't get that help then the people will suffer, they'll get exploited and the far right groups will go nuts blaming everyone and get power there.
People are already unhappy there. In my post about OSCE a few days ago there was stuff about a 3rd maiden with the militia groups already forming ties with candidates. The OSCE article from yesterday or the day before also featured a paragraph about pro-eu people protesting against the government. There was a riot in 1 of the vice reports, far right, ak armed militias dispersed the riot <- democracy.
I also don't trust petro. Hes an oligarch whos already been accused of corruption before, I've said it once and I'll say it again. The people deserve better.
My stuff about Russia in these threats isn't so much pro Russian. The rebels have been proven to do bad stuff and accused of really bad stuff, they have warned SMM not to come into their areas unguarded (not its a mix of lots of different people, moderates and extremists like both sides). My issue is the entire thing is being used as a weapon against Russia.
The media is provided a 1 sided view, I don't like having the decision being made for me by some rich guy who runs a paper in london, I want to decide who I support. I think people are entitled to be ruled by who they want to be ruled by. Russia shouldn't have annexed Crimea but by doing so they saved lives (look what happened in the east). The army shouldn't have been sent into the east to stop protesters, thats a totalitarian response to something which should have been solved diplomatically, the east protests was a mix of pro-federalists, pro-independance, pro-russian-language, pro-russian, anti-maiden people. By branding them all "pro-russian" and using the army against them the government lost any chance they had of sorting the radicals (pro russian) from the moderates (anti-maiden, pro-federalists) and thus made an enemy of all of them, then called for the world to condem them.
Like most of my posts this is slightly "blabby" but hopefully it will help clear up the whole "mdeceiver is literally putler" thing going on here, or not since they won't even bother to read the first word.

That'll do pig. That'll do.
Sorry, just... it's like you've read my own mind, and wrote it in there.
Thank you.
In contrast the American's went on to elect Ronald Reagan, a man who saw the Soviet Union as a threat even though the Soviet's had decided to just chill out in their own part of the world.
Hahaha are you joking? They fucking invaded Afghanistan in an attempt to set up a Soviet puppet government and made the whole of Eastern Europe (excluding the Balkans) their bitch after WWII, and demanded vast swathes of German territory as reparations.
The Soviets weren't the peaceful, hesitant heroes you think they were, if anything, they were no better then the bloody Nazis.

Don't forget how the Russian government is giving neo-nazis a free pass as long they kidnap, torture and murder homosexuals. And that calls itself a civilized country.....
