You guys are forgetting there is a full fledged car mod for new Vegas. Fully simulated transmission, suspension, and other physics. It actually works quite well.
Wasn't that buggy as hell?
http://www.gamersyde.com/hqstream_fallout_4_trailer-34774_en.html
Enormous difference here in the quality of this trailer, and yeah, now that you can actually see the shit, the assets do look to be of a much, much higher quality than previous bethesda games. I mean to a drastic degree. With the youtube compression though it's hard to tell.
The car mod is garbage, the roads and terrain of New Vegas just aren't built for that kind of thing.
The car mod is garbage, the roads and terrain of New Vegas just aren't built for that kind of thing.
Yeah i suppose after 200 years and a nuclear war the roads would be in bad shape. And they are, would break any suspension they have fast. Well if they had any in the mod.
If we ever did have cars, I think they'd be more like this mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50978/?
taleoftwowastelands.com
Very easy to install, luckily. Too bad mods are a bit otherwise though
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/vEYUozV.png[/img_thumb] Sums it up for me.
Except the people going "I don't really give a shit about the graphics" here were also going "I don't really give a shit about the graphics" there.
I'm surprised there isn't any AO in these screens.
The thing about AO is if you're doing it correctly and realistically, it shouldn't be very pronounced. With that said, that looks like it might be some pronounced ambient occlusion: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/X7JxeS.jpg[/t]
Im just hoping theres no bullshit invisible walls every five feet like in New Vegas.
really digging how colorful it is in comparison to the other games. in 3 everything was either baby vomit green or brown and in new vegas it was just shades of orange and brown. nice to see a non-headache inducing color palate
Im just hoping theres no bullshit invisible walls every five feet like in New Vegas.
That's because NV is a linear themepark that leads to The Strip itself, and also serves to block the player from skipping ahead too quickly.
That's because NV is a linear themepark that leads to The Strip itself, and also serves to block the player from skipping ahead too quickly.
I also hope that half the map shown on the pip-boy isnt blocked off by mountains and invisible walls. Seriously, a good chunk of whats shown is blocked off by mountains or invisible walls. Like the entire left hand side of map past goodsprings.
Yeah i suppose after 200 years and a nuclear war the roads would be in bad shape. And they are, would break any suspension they have fast.
The car mod is garbage, the roads and terrain of New Vegas just aren't built for that kind of thing.
I always thought it was weird how car mods seem to spring for usual street cars and nothing else, wouldn't a dune buggy be more sensible?
You'd think that eventually repairing the roads would be a priority for surviving communities. Easier to travel/cart stuff around on.
To be fair, it would be hard for any community to do anything if there are mutants and killer robots everywhere. I mean it wouldn't stop them from doing so, but it would make refurbishing roads extremely difficult.
Well, if you want to know how big the map is likely to be and where everything is located: https://imgur.com/gallery/lFIxR/new
Well, if you want to know how big the map is likely to be and where everything is located: https://imgur.com/gallery/lFIxR/new
Guess The Institute is probably going to be a big part of the game then. [editline]5th June 2015[/editline] Also, dont know about you guys, but i feel like there might be customizable Power Armor in this one.

Was surfing around and found this I kinda wanna see something like this but with FPers.

If building your power armor is a quest, hopefully you get options for each part.
