"Developed by Bethesda" Prepare for fallout 3 sequel with the godly holy BoS fighting for everyone wastelands right to exist and the evil Enclave to execute anyone in their vicinity.
Man, half the objects didn't even have shadows. Also they're still sticking with their theme park design aesthetic. I hated that shit in Fallout 3. I'll wait to see more, but so far, I'm not hyped.
I haven't played the original games, what did they ruin?
The main culrpits are the super mutants, enclave and the miraculous appearance of jet Enclave were a small but powerful faction in Fallout 2, their president resided in their main base* which you blow up in Fallout 2, and yet suddenly despite being routed and destroyed by the ncr and brotherhood, they show up in absolutely massive force in the east coast, with technology that was developed (and then destroyed) on the west coast. The super mutants and FEV were unique to the mariposa military base in california, which, again, was destroyed in the events of Fallout 1 & 2 and shouldn't have been on the east coast. Jet was a drug developed by Myron in New Reno, Myron gets stabbed by a junkie and dies after the events of Fallout 2. He takes the jet formula to his grave, and yet jet is abundantly everywhere in fallout 3, on the other side of the US, with absolutely no reason or explanation provided. Also, can't discount the fact that fallout 3's storyline was just a frankenstien of both the fallout 1/2 storylines mashed together.

And this time, its for real. Unless they decide to popup in Canada.
because everyone represents everyone else [editline]3rd June 2015[/editline] you're missing the point being made
so its excusable to have your fancy pants rpg have shitty floaty dog animations in the year 2015 as long as its "old school pc feel"
So much salt in here, holy shit. Please lets judge a game based on 2 minutes of footage. Fallout 3 and new Vegas looked like utter shit but are still some of the best games of all time. Calm the fuck down.
it finally here *sheds a tear* yay can't wait
What engine they use isn't about the graphics, it's about bugs and 32bit and physics glitches and save bloat and NPC limits.

being physically unable to shoot an enemy 18 inches in front of you with a firearm because "dice rolls" that's about the opposite of "the best games of all time"
I never had a problem with that
so its excusable to have your fancy pants rpg have shitty floaty dog animations in the year 2015 as long as its "old school pc feel"
uh no that's not what I said the post on tumblr is obviously referring to the feel of the trailer, not necessarily how it looks. The dude literally wrote vibe. The trailer is reminiscent of retro game cutscenes in terms of tone and atmosphere. Side note, attachments are coming back. No one is going to agree with me here I'm sure but I've lost any interest I had in this after seeing it's still on the same shitty engine. Ugh - I was expecting more. I don't even care for the graphics, the previous games were fine graphically, but it's the loading screens and the general bugs that I was hoping would be improved upon.
I'm still pissed that it's on gamebyro too but it doesn't diminish how much I enjoy the other 2 games on it, and I would imagine this will probably be better than those.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/vEYUozV.png[/img_thumb] Sums it up for me.
Downgrade=/=Bad graphics Fallout 4 has bad graphics and is up front about it TW3 has beautiful graphics and is a great game but was originally shown with even better graphics.
Well, facepunch largely had a retarded reaction to a game reveal, who wouldve thunk it.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/vEYUozV.png[/img_thumb] Sums it up for me.
didn't give a shit about witcher 3 either, so...

Are you kidding? I know it's not saying much but this looks, graphically, ten times better than Fallout 3. Looks as good as GTA5 at the very least, and they've decided to get rid of adding a dumb filter to the game.

At least the sky is actually blue.
I hope there isn't any bad blood between Bethesda and Obsidian. I'd love for Bethesda to stick to the east coast and have Obsidian work on the west coast. Maybe say that because of the low population density in the centre of America and the prevalence farmland that the nuclear war caused a huge swath of land to become completely barren preventing most cross continent travel.

Ugh - I was expecting more.
I'm still pretty interested in it and likely still going to get it. What can I say, I'm a sucker for exploring cool places and Bethesda largely are still capable of making pretty cool places. Especially since they've become pros at making the first few hours excellent ("oh the potential!") But this is gonna probably be the first Bethesda game that I'm very lukewarm on and likely not gonna get day 1 if it is just like their previous games. Who knows though, maybe we'll see gameplay footage at E3 that blows anything else they've previously done out of the water. I really doubt it'll be anything more than more of the same though. I've always held the opinion that since Oblivion Bethesda has gotten progressively better at making their first few hours good, and their world design good, but progressively much worse at actually making a good all-around game. Jfc you guys are picky as shit. It looks leagues better than 3 and NV with more color and much better lighting. Gamebyro isnt that bad and literally the only problem i ever had with them was the long load times after playing for extended periods.
I think the game looks good. Skyrim still looks good to me, too...
I guess I should finally play New vegas and see what the fuss is about.

Problem is Arizona and parts of Utah are still under Legion control (probably) while Texas is under Brotherhood control. Most travelers from the East head through the Midwest around Oklahoma and shit.
