And still 32bit. The 19.3 patch made all versions of Skyrim behave like the ps3 in memory allocation, which was as we see, a collosal fuck up.
wait wait, can I go back to a previous version? I experience CTDs even without passing the 4 gb limit, is this the cause?
MY GOD can people please stop with the shit about the graphics. First off you haven't even seen the actual fucking game yet, nor a release date! Graphics can change over time. Second of all IT'S A FALLOUT GAME. Nobody plays Fallout to look at those sweet graphics, they play it because of it's RPG gameplay elements. That's what you should be focusing on, not fucking graphics. As long as the game runs well, and has good gameplay, graphics can be overlooked easily (I'm not saying you shouldn't complain about Gamebryo, I'm just saying, stop obsessing over the graphics). There's a fucking reason why people still play Fallout 3 and NV today. To me anyway, the graphics look fine. You people really need to stop over-exaggerating how bad they are. They look at least like DayZ level, perhaps even GTA-V Next Gen level. The only thing I can say looks bad for certain is the characters and those animations, but again I'll refer back to my argument that the game isn't even finished yet. I'm probably going to get a lot of dumbs for this since I'm a dissenting opinion but whatever, give me them.
People are saying the graphics are shit because apparently Witcher 3 has now set a standard for open world RPGs, despite Witcher 3 being it's own completely different game. Or people just want to whine for the sake of whining.
They should've played "Home on the Wastes" during the trailer, and I mean the J.E. Sawyer song.
Sweet Caroline would have been more suitable. Or Shipping Up to Boston, which is pretty much a requirement for any action-oriented anything in Boston.
Some people are never happy, generally speaking alot of the ones whining are self entitled pieces of shit who don't actually know how lucky they are. Honestly graphics really aren't everything, i had way more fun on past games because of they games themselves not because they had top of the line graphics for they're time.
If I can tell what things are I don't give a shit about the graphics. AAA games have ruined so much shit
Sweet Caroline would have been more suitable. There are mods for Skyrim which make it look 10x better than any AAA game out today! Fallout 4 will get graphical mods too but at least the baseline doesnt look like 2005 anymore
wait wait, can I go back to a previous version? I experience CTDs even without passing the 4 gb limit, is this the cause?
There are many causes; bad nifs (model) the HD texture pack has both bad textures and causes a memory leak, too many scripts not shutting off when they should, and the physics engine going over 60 fps can all cause crashes. Whiterun, for example has bad nifs that can hang the game even if you don't have a single mod installed. Skyrim's memory limit is 3.2 gigs, this is hardcoded and cannot be changed. What SKSE and ENBoost do together is up the amount of memory so you can have more than 256 megs of active memory in your initial load, and then move redundant stuff out of that space as quickly as possible to avoid crashes. I would advise getting both, even if you don't have any mods, and also ditching the HD pack, because it's broken.
Hope and hype are high, but remaining stable.
I posted this in the Fallout 4 Official Trailer thread but just in case no one replies there I'm going to ask here too. Any ideas if this game is going to be on the same engine as Fallout 3? I hope it will be on a new engine.

All we have in this trailer is graphics, no story, gameplay, only one full sentence of dialogue, it's all just graphics--so why shouldn't we talk about it? And you're right, graphics can and do change from trailer to release, but when was the last time a AAA game's graphics got better during that intervening time instead of staying the same or even getting worse?

I'm just happy it has a decent color palette, contrasting colors, and it looks like they really revamped the shading and lighting system. The past few games Bethesda has released, Skyrim, Fallout 3, New Vegas, etc all have looked like complete dogshit.
Gonna hope that Bethesda is gonna step up their game, i do remember Fallout 3 being a bit on the short side excluding its DLC.

Yeah it's not the Frostbite engine but it looks fine and hey, the less work that has to be done the engine them more quality content can be made.

Fallout and TES series never had good graphics and yet they were still fun. Just wait a few years after release and mod the shit out of it if you want good graphics.

At least it's not brown anymore.
Although this is most definitely a stretch and a half, if I could choose between Gamebryo and the entirety of Massachusetts with good content and the Frostbite with just Boston and equally good content, I know I would sure as fucking hell go for the former, and if you honestly want more graphics and less game then no matter who you are, you are a moron
Honestly, I don't have any problems with they way the game looks. I'm cynical for this in a lot of ways, but it looks no better nor worse than I expected.

The engine Beth uses is far from perfect, but it's been improved with every iteration and without it, the modding scene for the game wouldn't be even a quarter as large as it is. Hell, by their own admission iD said that iDTech 5 was no good for open world. They're purely judging by the graphics and nothing else.
Wish people would look past the hype of Fo4's announcement and realize that none of the gameplay has been revealed, so for all we know it might as well be a character action game MMO with candy crush gameplay added in. You should be skeptical of it too until you know about how it works and how it plays, otherwise you're blindly defending a product you know nothing about and are riding a hype train which, let's be honest, leads to disappointment 99% of the time.
people are obsessed with graphics holy fuck. is that really all you guys play games for? as long as it's an upgrade from the last fallout i don't even care, i think it looks great new vegas was the tits

New Vegas' graphics I admit didn't look good, and the combat was barely passable, but the atmosphere and the places you visit and the interesting characters made it so immersive that I barely noticed the flaws.
I wish myself Bethesda would use a different engine but I can see why they'd rather improve this one, first of all modding community is pretty familiar with the way it handles, the engine itself is pretty much built around being able to add custom content too, as long as they fix the problems that plagued the engine and add new editor, no problems then.
