Why did you do this to me!
Do a lot of kids still watch Nick, or really that much TV? I don't know anymore kids, but it feels like the internet is becoming the main source of media.
My 7 year old brother barely knows what Nick is. He almost entirely watches Netflix and Youtube.
I think kids still definitely watch Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents even if they're worse now. But I think the audience is probably staying at a very low age and I think the real cartoon channel that everybody, especially older kids and up, are watching right now is Cartoon Network. I think to be honest if it weren't for the people like younger kids and parents who aren't really familiar with how the shows declined and don't really care and if spongebob and fairly oddparents viewership declined, the channel would have to shrink massively or shut down. Their best shows are just kind of average and I just do not see something as uninspired as Sanjay and Craig looks to be carrying a network. I think the best possible thing Nickelodeon could do to get back in the game is to stop with the weird CGI shows and live action sitcoms, condense their network down to one or two channels, because seriously there's like 8 fucking channels and I have no idea what any of them are for, and not copy but learn from their competitors by starting to make cartoons that aim for an older demographic and aren't afraid to have things like story and character arcs and emotional moments and very dark moments while slowly phasing out the old standbys. I mean a huge part of why shows like Steven Universe are so good is because the characters actually grow and change and gain depth as the show goes on and they're not stuck in this flanderized stasis.
The channels are: Nick Jr. (perfectly fine for what it is) Teen Nick (Just reruns of the popular teen sitcoms from the last 10 years and 90s nicktoons after 9:00 pm) Nicktoons Network (Where they send cartoons to die, Spongebob, Fairy Odd Parents, and some older Nicktoons in the early morning and morning. and finally the main channel that is just teen sitcoms and Spongebob. I bet this Rugrats reboot is going to end up on Nicktoons Network within the first few episodes. Oh and there are rumors of a new channel being launched which is nothing but 90s Nicktoons. Which is what Nicktoons Network was made for before.
I get the feeling this is basically going to be Nickelodeon digging up a corpse, shocking it with a defibrillator then when that doesn't bring it back to life, just using it as a puppet instead.
Honestly, I think it's about time that Nickelodeon dies. They fail every time to create something new and original, and anything that does succeed they run into the ground. The channel simply isn't capable of meeting today's viewer standards and they continuously try to come up with ways to revive old shows to bring back their old viewership.
I wonder if this one will have a dark production staff like the last one. [t]https://i.gyazo.com/6bb16ef0a54fcaca0eb05018c4298072.png[/t]
They better do this completely RIGHT. Doing anything wrong will cause the show to fail. And knowing Nick's track record with animation as of late: [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a4/Pig_Goat_Banana_Cricket_poster.jpg[/t][t]http://www.nick.com/nick/app/iOS/shows/sanjay-craig/sanjay-craig-full-episode.jpg[/t][t]http://www.nick.com/nick/app/iOS/shows/rabbids-invasion/show-cover-rabbids.jpg[/t][t]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/nickelodeon/images/d/d4/Tumblr_mysnubbZlS1rbn14go1_1280.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140629025612[/t] I don't trust them to handle it even remotely right. Either do it hand drawn (or in the very least take their time and make good flash animation) with the original voice actors or don't bother doing it at all.
What's wrong with Pig Goat Banana Cricket?
not pc friendly for the office, too bad that's were imagination exists in non-pc places.
what uhh, im pretty sure this shit would still happen in the offices do you also see a leaf fall and say "fucking pc"
I'm just saying diaper wearing seniles aren't any different from diaper wearing babies. :v:
Take it to the next level... Dementia and Alzheimer's diaper wearing seniles. Now that would be jam packed with good comedy. I fucking love working with Dementia and Alzheimer's peeps :excited: it's so funny to work with them yet so sad at the same time but never a dull moment lol.
I'll watch this if the original cast minus Joe Alaskey returns
Rugrats had a run of like what, 12 years in its original run? Yeah, I think it already had a good run. I don't think anyone is really craving more Rugrats. I think the executives are missing the point when say we miss the 90s Nick. We don't necessarily want those shows back in production (because honestly, they will never be the same). But we want what those shows excelled at. Being great shows that anybody could really enjoy and weren't afraid to push the boundaries of what was then acceptable in children's cartoons. A lot of 90s Nick shows were really good at dancing that fine line.
im glad the execs have forgotten all grown up because unfortunately that is a memory i can't get rid of
I would poop myself if Danny Phantom came back. I know it wasn't everyone's favorite, but it was the coolest show in the world when I was a kid.

:why:
Seeing how that nightly "classic" Nicktoons block basically always shows Rugrats in some form, I thought that that was that already.
S-see Cartoon Network?! W-we can reboot our popular 20 year old s-s-shows too! PEOPLE STILL LIKE US I PROMISE!!
I'd be happy if they released digital versions for all the old seasons on Google Play and Netflix.
Its weird. They used to be on Netflix years ago, then they moved over to Amazon Prime Instant, and then Hulu Plus, and now its some combination of the three with some stupid season limits. Make up your damn minds. :v:

Baby hand held gadgets, memes etc. going to be fucking bad
Bring back doug. I know it ended but I want it back.
Bring back doug. I know it ended but I want it back.
So did you miss the whole "moved to Disney Channel" thing that happened to Doug before it ended?
