A real sequel to Perfect Dark. I enjoyed the FUCK out of the N64 Perfect Dark. It had really the right idea about what a console FPS should be about.
The awesome people behind banjo kazooie left rare already, so what's the point?

It seriously had all these neat little things that culminated to make it a really varied experience and for some reason level designs especially do not contain all the stuff you would get in games like Perfect Dark.
Just look at it this way, they might be able to give the IPs to other companies. This is coming from someone without a clear understanding of how stuff like that works, so feel free to disprove me.
Sequel to Goldeneye that captures all the nostalgia and the good memories about it, instead of the thing that got released a while back.

Long answer: According to publishers, innovation doesn't sell.
PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I WOULD BUY YOUR NEW SHITTY CONSOLE IF YOU REVIVED RARE TO IT'S FORMER GLORY. [editline]20th July 2012[/editline]
The awesome people behind banjo kazooie left rare already, so what's the point?
Fuck, I guess you are right. Oh well.
You know it's a shame most of them are just so damn good right?
Yeah I know we have over a hundred mario games but we just need a few dozen more.
This would give me a reason to buy the Wii U if this happens which it wont.
Yeah I know we have over a hundred mario games but we just need a few dozen more.
Question. Have you actually played a Mario game in the last ten years? If not, shut the fuck up and go shit on some other thread.
Aren't they a pretty much completely different team now? And haven't they mostly developed mediocre or crap games lately? I hate to be negative but I don't really see how being owned by Nintendo will make them just as good as they once were all the sudden.
I just want a sequel to Blast Corps.
I want Nintendo to clone everyone at Retro Studios so they can make all their games.
What nintendo needs to do: Here Rare. We give you the wii U and an unlimited amount of money. Go nuts. What Nintendo will do: Here Rare. This is the 3DS, get to work on remaking Banjo Kazooie.
Even if they did, it'd still be a win. Banjo Kazooie is amazing, and to see a version get the same treatment that Ocarina of Time did for the 3DS would be amazing in my book.
I want to believe...I just want to... Does that mean they'll get back to work on Donkey Kong Racing?
007 Goldeneye 2: Goldener Eye.
I would love something involving Perfect Dark.
I once checked Rare's website. They don't have any comments sections or forum, so I decided to check their YouTube channel and Facebook. As I've guessed, it's full of old disappointed fans :v:
doesn't matter anyway everyone who made rare rare has either left or got fired (Kirkhope got fired recently. you know the guy who did all the banjo kazooie soundtracks)

waiting for HD remake of conkers bad fur day and banjo kazooie
yeah, save Rare from those shitty Kinect games ffs, they used to be a hardcore company, but one of their creations involved fucking pinatas
Viva Pinata was really fun though.

This would be EPIC if it happens, beacause games like Banjo Tooie/Kazooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day, etc. were amazing. (And a good reason to keep your N64's)
A new Donkey Kong game in a similar style as Donkey Kong 64 would be awesome!
Way too late all the key people are long gone
God when I finally got my hopes up for once everybody lays up a fat heap of reality and disappointment.
God when I finally got my hopes up for once everybody lays up a fat heap of reality and disappointment.
It makes me feel like Microsoft bought Rare just to stop Nintendo from making amazing games, and then booted the guys that made them great to fuck it up. Also the way they changed all of the Nintendo references in BK on XBLA into XBox references made me cringe so hard.

I'm just upset that they were too lazy to re-write Jam Jar's drills in Tooie. Would of taken an hour, tops. Also, watch Nintendo buy Rare only to make new Digger T and Mr. Pants games.
