I'm just upset with the port's technical issues like the sound cutouts. Other than that I'm happy. I skip Jamjars's songs anyway.

Aaaaalready exist. With the whole Stop/Swap thing implemented to boot.

Microsoft can never be forgiven for Nuts & Bolts
Nuts and Bolts was a goddamn tragedy. It probably could have done okay if released as a new franchise, but slapping Banjo-Kazooie on it pissed off everyone. And I think the writers for the game actually knew that most of all.
The story of Nuts and Bolts is that a game producer who was not involved with the series at all up until this point swoops in, carves out the original mechanics, and replaces them with completely different ones to "appeal to a broader audience". You can ask him in-game to give you back the old stuff, which he states clearly is possible, but refuses to even entertain the option because if you had those you would discard his building gimmick completely in favor of them.
Mumbo Jumbo even has a line where he says that a vehicle without flotation devices will "Sink just like this game at retail". It's akin to watching a clown try to hold back tears while performing at your birthday party.
While the devs that originally worked on their best games are likely mostly gone, I think if Nintendo bought them they'd have to stick more closely to their old IP's. Nintendo would recognize how much those IP's are worth, and why people like them so much. Basically, I think we can pretty safely assume that if Nintendo owned them we wouldn't get another Nuts & Bolts.
Donkey Kong U?
Seriously, I'd love to see a sort of sequel to Donkey Kong 64. I played the living shit out of that game as a kid. :D

According to the time counter, I have over 300 hours on Donkey Kong 64 alone across all the saves. I think one save has 200+ hours alone. I easily played it easily 3 times over. And then there's Banjo Tooie.... :v:
Although most of (if not all of) the team behind rare's best games are gone, it would still be worth while buying rare simply for the rights to banjo kazooie, conker, and their other games, Who said rare had to actually make the games?
BANJO THREEIE
I want another fucking donkey kong. I played the shit out of donkey kong 64.
As much as I want a new Killer Instinct, it will never happen.

It still pisses me off that people seem to call it a bad game purely for the fact that it wasn't the same genre of the last two games. It's called a spin-off. Multiple IPs have done it. Nuts & Bolts was a great game, with the theme of Banjo & Kazooie. Just because it had that theme doesn't make it bad. That's a terrible argument.
Was it what people wanted? No. Was it a good game? Yes. Do I want a proper Banjo-Threeie? Abso-fucking-lutley. But I'm not going to call Nuts & Bolts a bad game because it wasn't.
While it is most likely not true.....
Conkers Bad Fur Day 2 before anything else.
An actual Star Fox sequel on the WiiU first please
First I hear that EA is pretty much failing now this. It's like all my birthdays come at once.
And you've got to remember. Even though some key figures are gone, the reason a lot of people apply for and get jobs at certain studios is because they loved the games those studios made. It's fairly safe to say they would want to fuck over their favourite franchises.
I mean look at Nuts and Bolts. It wasn't a traditional Banjo Game but it still had all the wit, humour and charm of the originals.
Oh God I want a another game like Conker's Bad Fur Day so badly.

Conker: Live and Reloaded has a remade single player that is basically the same game, though they censored it pretty bad.
Short answer: Budget.
Long answer: According to publishers, innovation doesn't sell.
Which is depressing, and why I totally love R* and VALVe, and similar companies.
games like ANY R* title, Assassins creed, Dishonored, Morrowind, and Half-life 2/L4D, Bioshock, Metro/Stalker are brilliantly innovative.

I guess you don't understand british humour?

You know what I'd like to see?
A company owned by a console manufacturer that didn't only release exclusives for that console.
I'm not saying they should all do it- if they did, then everyone would just buy the console with the best hardware- but it would be nice to see that these big corporations can actually do without (relatively speaking) a teeny tiny bit of cash.
I liked that Grabbed by the Ghoulies game by Rare the most, it was amusing :3. I wish they would have made a sequel.
Ohhh, one more reason to buy Wii U.

That's another joke in Nuts and Bolts. Every time you see a pile of garbage or random junk, there's at least three unsold copies of Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
Nuts and Bolts wasn't that bad.
It wasn't a bad game, but it was totally unrelated to previous games.
It'd be like Half-Life 3 being a dating simulator.

where the only dialogue option is "..."
I hope this is true, Conker's Bad Fur day and Banjo were my games of all time when I was younger.
Some guy on 4chan found in the comments that it was just some moderator joking around saying something like "I just made this up but people really want this to happen!! xD"
My heart sank.
If they can get back together with Nintendo, perhaps they could regain the magic of their glory days? Or at least make stuff that's cool; a Banjo-Kazooie installment that writes off Nuts & Bolts as non-canon would probably be a good thing.
My brother works as a tester for Rare, he says he's met the guy who did the elevator music for Goldeneye and a few of the testers who worked on it. He doesn't really meet anyone from any of the other departments, so he doesn't know if anyone who worked on any of the other decent games still work there.
Aparrently when he started, there was a huge tapestry or painting or something in the lobby that Nintendo had given to them way back, recently it got moved to the corner of the cafeteria and there's big kinect sports banners where it used to be.
One thing I loved about Rare was David Doak. I loved how they referenced his name in Goldeneye.
