also if you would read like two lines in you would know that there's already been a gay bishop for quite some time, this is the second
I think some parts of the bible were changed/audited/added/removed by the catholic church to fit their agenda. It reminds me of "a letter from god to man" by scroobius pip vs dan le sac
Source: http://wjz.com/national/episcopal.lesbian.bishop.2.1352313.html People never cease to amaze me. Doesn't make any sense to me given what the Bible says about homosexuality.
What does it say? [editline]10:12PM[/editline]
This is bad news because the church accepting homosexuality is one less thing we can use to destroy religion with i.e. Growing numbers of people are pro-homosexual rights and so the church opposing it makes people oppose the church.
Or maybe you shouldn't try to just relentlessly attack religion?

Good for her IMO, about time that crusty old religion started getting a bit more accepting.
California: Sending mixed messages about issues smart states have already settled since 2009! Marijuana (legalized in Massachusetts and a bunch of other states, yet California hands out medical marijuana to anyone with a headache), gay marriage (voted down, yet shit like this happens).

Feds can come and bust anyone smoking pot anywhere. States can't 100% control it.
Read the link?
Nothing about the Bible there.
Nothing about the Bible there.
Read what else I posted below the article.
Read what else I posted below the article.
Yeah so what does the Bible say about homosexuality.
My family is episcopal!
Yeah so what does the Bible say about homosexuality.
I already said it, read post number 5. http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=18756429&postcount=5
people fail to realize that the episcopal church is not fundamentalist that's not saying that there aren't fundamentalist wackos in the church, but generally it's a nice kind of church if you do want to go.

Usually the same few songs, and the same few readings, communion, and sermon. That's not my cup of tea, I like the nice history lesson, and just that... But it works for some people.

But it's much nicer then going to a baptist church and getting told that i'm going to hell unless I follow a bunch of ridiculous rules and ideologies. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard hell in the many times i'e been to an episcopal church.
Other than this, the presiding bishop is a total bitch, and needs to stop being crazy.
