I like how Fox has unintentionally called those who voted for Moore "Babies".
they voted in self-defense!
I voted for the first time, and it won't be my last. :excited: Also having Jones for consideration on the senate judiciary committee would be banging.
It's really quite horrifying how close this race was. The fact that so many people still support Moore is quite sickening.
Sweet Merciful Jesus can it be true?
Doug, do your best. Turn Alabama blue for future generations.
a literal pedo apologist who supports slavery almost won against someone who is an actually decent human being thanks america
a literal pedo apologist who supports slavery almost won against someone who is an actually decent human being thanks america
"Almost won" shouldn't even be considered, it should have been "Overwhelmingly lost."
"Almost won" shouldn't even be considered, it should have been "Overwhelmingly lost."
considering it was ~3% off, that's far from overwhelming, that's razor thin.
considering it was ~3% off, that's far from overwhelming, that's razor thin.
That was their point; they were saying it would ideally have been an "overwhelming" rejection of Moore instead of a narrowly eked out victory.
That was their point; they were saying it would ideally have been an "overwhelming" rejection of Moore instead of a narrowly eked out victory.
oh I'm actually just overwhelmingly retarded and should be rated bad reading but that doesn't exist any more
Browsing t_d and I'm noticing how some users are saying that Moore losing is actually a good thing cause it will expose voter fraud or something. These people will spin anything into a "win". Hell, I'd bet that if Trump were to be impeached tomorrow some of his supports will say this is some sort of blow toward the (((Deep State)))
I'm gonna say Doug Jones will win because I want to be optimistic.
Being optimistic rocks sometimes fuck yeahhhhhh
I saw someone on twitter explain the psychology a bit. Take it for granted that Doug puts babies in a blender, isn't it better to vote for a pedo than a baby murderer? In Alabama apparently they rail on about abortion in churches all the time and abortion is the most gruesome thing the priest can imagine so Doug is just a guy who will churn out babymeat by the pound for them. All from the church. Is that a good explanation? Seems good to me.
Holy fuck check out the new section of T_D. I hope you're ready for the amount of brain cancer you will receive.
I don't go there just because in the event I die, or get framed for a crime, in no way do I want it in my history or my ISP's logs

Razor thin a victory as it is, it's still leaps and bounds better than the usual result you'd expect in Alabama, which is total Republican victory with hardly any contest at all That razor thin margin is a significant crack in the walls of a long time Republican stronghold. Usually a Democratic candidate for the senate would struggle to make much more than thirty percent while a Republican would breeze by on an easy sixty plus The last time it was this close was in the mid eighties
In case the chetto in chief will try to delete the tweet in support of Moore https://archive.is/tPRbx
I love how they call it "pro-abortion" as if these people are just running wild, trying to force every pregnant woman around to have an abortion.
great work alabama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Separation of church and state should really include pastors and priests talking to voters on the pew...
Why? They aren't employees of the state.

Trumps administration hired Sessions as the attorney general because they thought the seat would be completely safe. It's like a beautiful play
Why? They aren't employees of the state.
Because ehile preaching they are acting as agents of a religious organization, which should, just like nonprofit TV shows, preclude them from endorsing any candidate in any capacity.
I mean crazier things have happened, just look at who the current President is.
An unexpected but welcome result. Does Jones enter the senate immediately or is there a waiting period involved?
There's a waiting period. They still have to verify the write-ins and count the military vote. If I recall correctly they have from December 26th to January 4th to do so. Moore could also request a recount, which he'd have to pay for, unless the margin somehow shrank to >=0.5%. I doubt that's gonna happen though.
Quote from the Holy Tudd "I am very Butthurt right now" Source: Discord
Huh, if what you say is true then Tudd is a liar.
The tide is turning.
Perhaps this is a wake up call to democrats about who their base actually is
Lads and lasses, I just wanna remind me you of how huge this victory. It's not only a win for the democrats, it's a win for common decency and democracy. Hopefully this will pave the way for the democrats to take the Senate and House next year, but remember: stay cautious. The Republicans could still pull something out of their sleeves.
honestly surprised that roy lost, the result itself isn't surprising considering how much of a republican state alabama is but i'm so glad that jones won.
