They don't only live in England. But all over the world...
They don't only live in England. But all over the world...
Obviously.
I've always hated them little pricks :v:
Doesn't it hurt to hold him like that? especially when he moves his spikes around so much.
I assume its like a bed of nails, because there are more than one, each spike is putting less pressure onto the hand due to the weight being spread out more.
It's more like one of those thorns that isn't fully grown, that's green, you can like move it around and hold it and you'd have to TRY to hurt yourself to actually hurt yourself.
Good! To quote an old post of mine...
Before I moved to Australia I always got pissed off about how I'd never see a single fucking hedgehog ALL YEAR. Then, come bonfire night, we'd inevitably shine a torch into the small gaps that formed under the bonfire before we lit it and there'd be like entire fucking families of hedgehogs just chilling out under there. We'd have to spend like an hour digging around in there with gloved hands pulling something like two-dozen fucking hedgehogs out before we could light that sucker on fire. Fucking hedgehogs.
See dead hedgehogs on the road all the time here. See living ones, too, though so it's not all bad.
Are you kidding me? They are all over the fucking place. I seen like 20+ this year alone.
I used to live near two different sets of woods and I never saw a single fucking hedgehog on any other day of the year.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Also, how did you manage to make that first A part of the URL link?
WHAT
Called it :v:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Also, how did you manage to make that first A part of the URL link?
He always does it. He like refuses to take the effort to prevent it when he posts news.
Sad to hear, because hedgehogs are living fossils. It's a miracle that they have adapted living in capital cities and wherever, and they have remained untouched by the evolution for so long!
Why can't something everyone hates, like wasps be threatened with extinction instead :frown:
That didn't seem like an animal that would go endangered.
True, I never heard anything about them ever being endangered. I actually thought that, just like the majority of small woodland creatures, that they multiply like crazy.
I have a feeling that the Sonic games are actually a loose representation of our world in the future seeing that Sonic, Shadow and Amy are among the last three hedgehogs alive and probably extinct in the wild due to lost of natural habitat
Funny how neither Red Squirrels nor Hedgehogs nor indeed Cuckoos are listed as anywhere near endangered anywhere else.
This article is a bit confusing. The title says that Hedgehogs may go extinct, but this article is only talking about stuff in Great Britain. They never did any tests anywhere else. So SilverHedgehog, You're safe.
Why can't something everyone hates, like wasps be threatened with extinction instead :frown:
Or mosquitoes.
No kind of regulation, protest or whatever is going to stop industry. The only option is gene sequencing, but that's not enough, you'd need the specifications to make some kind of "artificial hedgehog uterus" if you want to bring them back. :saddowns:
Fucking hell. I hope that, in the future, we perfect cloning/gene-copying/geneing(?) and all that jazz and clone all those cute little bastards... If there will be a future where we achieve that... Or will it be too late?
Fucking hell. I hope that, in the future, we perfect cloning/gene-copying/geneing(?) and all that jazz and clone all those cute little bastards... If there will be a future where we achieve that... Or will it be too late?
we can already do this.
I hope Sonic recolors go extinct.
glaber is gonna be so distraught
hes gonna say its all because of the liberal agenda and Obama but seriously this sucks, I love these prickly little bastards :C
I would get a one as a pet if the demand didn't probably worsen their situation even more.
Sonic the hedgehogs are going to kill themselves
EXCELLENT! [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/8yIu9.jpg[/thumb] I deserve a prrrrrrrrrrromotion for this! On a more serious tone, the post title is misleading: the article doesn't talk about all hedgehogs becoming extinct, it just shows hedgehog population on Great Britain is declining and that people need to take action
But what about that Facepuncher who's a hedgehog?
Just the other day I was taking my girlfriend home and a hedgehog ran into the road, I stopped quite abruptly and said "Go on then Hedgehog", it ran the rest of the way across and I continued the last few meters of the drive, my girlfriend says "Awwh that was really cute Kris" and smiles at me as I pull up at hers, she invites me in for a bit. And that's the story about how a hedgehog got me laid. I'll pick up the next few I see and force it to breed
